Very nice.

The dude with the big maul is spectacular.

To post a link go to your downloads section and "copy" the address. Come back here and type something like "Here's the link". Highlight the word link (or any word) and click the blue ball/paper clip icon above. In that box paste your link and hit enter. Now the word link should be underlined and be a working link to your file.

edit - I didn't see your file in the download section either.

thanks, i was able to link, but the file is "in moderator queue"?? so cant download

THANKS, i use him as my maceman with swordman animations....he looks great, except that he occasionally seems to cut off his own head!

Yes thats a wonderful set of reskins, I particularly like the white splotches on the chariot horse, resining the horse now THATS attention to detail.

very nice reskinns, i love to see someone using stuff from the medieval units construction set ;) thats what its there for!
keep up the cool work

There are so many awesome flavor units out now, that sometimes it's actually HARD to decide which ones to use!

Thanks for making these... I especially like the chariot and medieval axeman!

Very nice.

..but why did the hammer guys have a Union Jack on their chest? :p

Maybe use black and golden squares instead

The other units are perfect:goodjob:

thanks, thank you, and thank very much to all for the compliments. the emblem is actually a german cross, but it does look a little like a union jack. that unit is pretty much made up, as are the different colors of the warrior and chariot guy. the hoseman was actually researched, he is based on a 4-5th century goth. the axeman is proly the most "accurate", based on this

Hey Bernie,

I made some reskins of your heavy hammer man:

reskins.JPG

Imperial Crown: golden shirt with eagle

Saxon: white and green squares on the shirt, saxon coat of arms on the shield

Francian: red and white

Bavarian: white and blue

House Hohenzollern (later Prussia): black and white squares

hope you like them

EDIT: I've put them at the DB, here is the link: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4195

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!, interestingly, I am working on a knight right now with the gold and eagle, based on rabbit W mounted templar

Haha exactly what I thought, then I looked closer and they were German Crosses. Nice job, bernie 14 and Chamaedrys.

@ bernie 14 - However, maybe you could get rid of the black outside of the cross.. like just have a black cross with white border and no black outside of that. (Wouldn't mistake it for a Union Jack then :P )

@ Chamaedrys - What civ is the Imperial Crown for? Russia?

No, I mean the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire:

The Holy Roman Empire was a mainly Germanic conglomeration of lands in Central Europe during the Middle Ages and the early modern period. It was also known as the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation from the late 15th century onwards. It originated with the coronation of Charlemagne by Pope Leo III on Christmas Day, AD 800, and lasted until the abdication of Emperor-elect Francis II in 1806 during the Napoleonic Wars. After the partition of the Frankish Empire by the Treaty of Verdun in 843, the de facto sovereignty of the Emperors became confined first to the central and later (and for most of the Empire's subsequent history) to the eastern portion of the former Frankish dominions.

I love the Maul unit!

Just thought I'd bring these back-up for anyone that missed them (while we're talking about Germanic units).

I still love the Maul Warrior. I used him to replace the German Maceman.
