This storyline is based upon the just-beginning Pitboss game entitled WorldMaker 1.1. The thread for the actual Pitboss game is here. The Civstats for the game is here.
This is just my created Civ's "story". I encourage the other players in the game to post their stories as well.

Gather around me, little children. Let me tell you the story of Morgan and our people.
Before you were born, children, but not long ago, our people were separated by land and by thought. We were divided by three men who each believed they had the strength and courage to unite us.
One man was Morgan, a man from just beyond the Regium River, born to a strong warrior of his tribe. He grew up quickly, and was noted to be much wiser than others of his age. Morgan saw his divided people and dreamed of a time when we would be one, a strong and powerful tribe, one strong enough to brave voyaging beyond the Regium River.
After becoming leader of his own tribe, he summonded the other two leaders, both of which were warring against each other, and both of whom wanted his tribe's help in defeating the other. He did not tell them his enemy was to be there. When they both arrived, children, they drew their axes and stepped forward to do battle. Morgan, is his wisdom, stopped them.
"You are in MY home", he said in a thunderous voice. "There will be no blood shed here unless I will it." Neither leader beleived Morgan to be their enemy, so neither had brought a large number of troops with him. They knew that if they did not obey him, his troops would slay them both.
One leader, Trevolus, was of a great mind. He wanted a tribe that was less of strength than one of creation. He dreamt of a land where new, incredible inventions would make life easier for everyone. He knew he needed help from Morgan for he had not the army to conquer.
The other leader, Ploblan, believed strength above all. He was powerful, and demanded his army was the same. He wanted a land ruled by him with an iron fist, with an army that none could hope to defeat. He knew he had not the mind to keep his people satisfied, nor the thought to properly strategize against a formidable opponent, such as Morgan.
Morgan, is his wisdom, knew of all of this, and brought this to them. He told them he had not the mind of Trevolus, nor the power of Ploblan, but that he would help NEITHER in their war against each other. Moreso, nothing would stop him from conquering the victor after their war was over, for he was the wisest of them all. He would be the ruler of a combined people, with or without them. He said he would rather have them with him, ruling together rather than beneath his heel.
Morgan would be the ruler, he had the support of his people, and the people loved him like no other. Ploblan would train the army, and defend our cities from harm. Trevolus would be the mind behind the throne, and would provide the strategy Ploblan and Morgan lacked.
"There are others in the world." Morgan said. "One day, we will move past this river, and we will meet them. One day they will come here, and we MUST be ready. Together, we will be.
The two warring leaders hated one another, but knew that with Morgan between them, together they would be unstoppable. Both thought to dipose Morgan over time, but would be patient.
Of course, children, wisdom means looking beyond today, and bringing your enemies closer to you than you would have your trusted allies. Morgan knew both could never be fully trusted, and had plans in place.
But the three leaders came together on that day. The home of Morgan was chosen to be our home capital, and it was named in honor of him: Morgantown.
What, child? What became of Ploblan and Tevolus? That story is for another time.
