Australian WW2 Infantry

An Australian WW2 Infantry from Tobruk. The gun is Asio's Sten. I had fun making the picture above but then I updated the guy :lol:

so it is a little out of date. There's an unaltered picture below of what he looks like and yes he really does have a smoking cigarette in his mouth.

The difference with the two pictures is that the newer one is a little cleaner and sharper, and he has a different belt buckle.

Great Unit! Should he have a slouch hat? (one side folded up) What about uniform shorts? (no Stubbies)

If you gave him a rifle instead of the sten, you could rebone him to the cavalry animations.

Not all of them wore those hats

and I tried making the shorts when I was making this but they kept interfering with the bones and ruining the animations.

Actually, ALL Aussie troops wore/wear a slouch hat. You only wear it raised on one side during ceremonial movements. Otherwise it is worn both down. I know, I was in the army. Still got mine.

Also, the slouch hat is seriously wrong, and in fact it breaches army policy of WW2. There is no badge on the front. Only the side (left side). Wearing the corp badge at front only came in recently. Also, you need to add the sash around the hat.

This is such a great unit! However, I can't seem to find what kfm works with him. Please help if you can!

Oh, I got it to work... I used a marines.kfm from someone else's custom marine. I suspect BTS may have changed the vanilla marines.kfm subtly.

Nope, just checked the BTS folders and xml and it's still referring to the old animation. So I'm not sure what happened, but I'm glad you got it to work.

How did you got them to bleed ? Could be a cool effect for the more sinister-themed mods like NecroCristi and FuryRoad.
