.....and new record for me: two completely different units released in less than a week :dance:

Anyways, the AL Bhed are a nation on Spira that openly rebelled against the Church of Yevon's anti-machina teachings, and were the sole force on the planet working to preserve lost knowledge from the days before Sin was unleashed upon the world. The Al Bhed Machina hunters were excellent swimmers and rode on various machina powered salvage ships around Spira in search of repairable Machina that they could use and study.

Nice, there has been a significant drop in unit creation activities, so any new unit is even more welcome than usual.

I like how in the death he goes down fighting.:goodjob:
 
Actually, this unit is a SHE, but yeah, I like the death too. Since the Machina Hunter replaces the Marine for the Al Bhed, I decided to kind of copy the marine's death for this unit.

BTW, the "Gibberish" in the first post is the acutal Al Bhed "language" as it was used in FF X & FF X-2. Basically the Al Bhed "Language" was made by scrambling the alphabet in such a way that it was still more or less pronouncable, and you could "learn" Al Bhed by finding 26 "Al Bhed Primers" so that you could understand what Al Bhed charachters were saying.
 
You know, it used to be if you were, say, away from the baords for eight hours, there was a slew of new posts.... but... le sigh.

Doesn't change the fact that I'm friggin starving nd iits three fifteen and I'm not going to drive thirty minutes to dennys or steak and shake.

EDIT: But thank god that I have 75 cents for another bag of combos.

Actually the unit's name is the Machina Hunter, I just "translated" it into Al Bhed for the purpose of this post only. In game she's just called the Machina Hunter. I aggree that she would also make a good Amazon Marine.

As to why she shoots from the hip, in FF X, just about all Al Bhed with guns shot from the hip like that (plus it makes her look more hard core).

As for the Cloud Strife Unit, I am planning on making a series of FF King units, and since Cloud is leader of AVALANCHE, Cloud will be the King unit. Best part of all, I only have to open my Shinra SOLDIER files, change some textures and remove/add some props and re-render the animations. The only other King units I have that are either ready to animate or almost are Garnet from FF IX and Queen Reina from FF V. But before I can do them, I have at least two other units to do.
 
She looks Great Whens the Mod coming out? (It must be annoying having eneryone ask you this)

I decided to re-do this unit (the first of a series of old units that I'm going to re-do now that I've got better modelling and animating skillz).
