This game requires that players trust each other with regard to passwords
  • Player swap civs as soon as any human player reaches the next 'age' (i.e. Medieval, then again at Industrial and finally at Modern)
  • Score is calculated by points added to the civ taken over, calculated from the victory screen.
  • Scores to be posted at the time civs are exchanged.
  • If the player's current civ is eliminated then so are they.

Hmmm, this is C3C, right?
If so, I might try out the Aztecs.

Yes C3C, I've amended the original post to show that now. I'll put you down provisionally for the Aztecs at the start then.

I will PM you all so we can have a pre-game discussion to cover any issues/suggestions on the game rules. Once we are agreed I'll add them to the initial post and we can get this game underway.
I'd suggest we use email for the discussion if possible.

im @ troykemp AT# gmail.com

we can start this and discuss as we play?
I have edited the email at the top, hope it reads correctly now.
Certainly we can start and discuss as we go, I need to know if the culture victory condition should be increased before we start though.

start could be better. i was hoping for 3 cows and 5 BGs.
Oh well....

for me, I don't have any food bonuses, but I'm agri (start next to a river,) and I have a TON of BG's (like, 7 or 8!) Also, I have 2 oasis' which I can irrigate to act like it's a food bonus (since I'm agri)

gps from the Aztecs, to the Mongols.

Looking at the mix of civs is interesting and highlights the following

  • Only one civ (Ottoman - AI) has Scientific as a trait
  • There are two expansionist Civs (Inca & Mongol) both controled by Human players
  • None of the civs are seafaring
  • Five of the eight civs have agricultural as a trait (2 Human, 3 AI)

All in all this should make for an interesting game. I think the Ottomans could bear watching, when they are discovered. Given the AI tendancy to trade techs amongst themselves. This may encourage the Human players to co-ordinate their research in order to keep up during the early to middle game. With only two Militaristic civs; Mongol(H), Ottomans(AI) will these lead rival alliances in a world war?

Having both Expansionist Civs in Human hands should lead to these two getting an early edge over the others.

The Maya and Inca look to be the stronger civs (both Human) with Indian(H)and Ottomans(AI) weaker.

c3c 1.22 here.

it was fine for me, and i have never had that problem.

if this is indeed a bad save, maybe the last player(sercer88 ?) can replay and resave?

also good is the fact that this is just turn 1....
imagine what would happen if this were turn 100...
