Update I: The Years of the Khagan
Years 1000 BCE - 975 BCE
Non-Military Events:
In Iberia things are changing for the better. The way of life of the Shamanistic Iberians is changing to be more strict making children begin training for a profession earlier in life. This will most likely bring the community together and build towards a strong united future. Huge amounts of money is spent to build a temple to the Shamans of the past in Murcia. Increasing its status to a religious center of Iberia. This may bring converters in the future to boost not only the population but the borders of Iberico. Trade efforts are improved as Shardana expands its trading outposts.
Shardana itself spends much of the quarter century expanding to the Balearic Islands.
The two southern most Italian Leagues remain the same as Taranto expands its colonies across the coast line.
Syracuse makes landfall in Africa to begin trading with the Berber tribes there bringing back new trade goods which could expand its economy soon.
In the north however the Etruscan League converts to a more militaristic approach. See Military Events.
The Magyar Empire remains dormant with some expansion outwards to the west and east. Expanding the farming efficiency in the Danube River Valley.
Moving on to Greece. No wars have broken out between the states as of yet. Mainly held together by the increase in trade from Egypt and Crimea. Peace may remain on the horizon unless something triggers a war.
Miletus begins to draw in huge amounts of scholars from Greece, Egypt and the Middle East. Early crude drawings of the world map are discussed as well as several key government ideas. Hard work is put into the infrastructure but the bronze tools require more time than thought to expand in these areas. Soon the expansion of roads will be completed. With the Khaganate to the east growing in power a series of small walls and lookout forts are built along the border. An increase in mineral mining brings many of the farmers to labor long days for that extra income they can get from these minerals.
In the North Nozican continues to govern over the smaller Thracian states and expand its own trade throughout the region. Soon becoming a power to reckon with. They annex the Zemecks through briber and land grants.
Down in Egypt things begin to heat up as Egypt of the Six Gods expands its coastal holdings and takes all of Sinai and a colony far west in North Africa. Trade ports are expanded to accommodate the larger grain ships and increased shipping. All is good except the threat approaching from the south as the Nubian Egyptians conquer up the Nile.
The Middle East is much more violent and less domestic. Sept for Eriduian which does some routine expansion.
In India much the same blood shed.
Burma sees the creation of a new nation. [Silver your in the game now]
China however sees much expansion.
Nookle-Han begins massive academic research and creation of a uniform language. This is turning out to be quite efficient and could spark innovation revolutions within the population once its forms into everyday life. Expansion along the river and expansion of sea trade are but parts of Nookel-Hans empire. This could be the superior and future dominator of China.
In the south Wu does much the same and works on the poor roads and ports. Sending ships to explore the coastline helps expand down it and new areas for great ports. A religious temple is begun. With its influence possibly affecting all of China. Conversion of some of the peoples in Ba to descendent worship and expansion of agriculture mark some of the achievements of Wu so far in this Century.
The Kingdom of Silla does much more. Expanding across the waters onto the legendary islands of myth (Japan). As well as expansion up the Korean Peninsula.
Military Events:
Etruscan League turns hostile in a hurry. The King sees it fit to expand his Empire across the known world and begins with a possible threat of the future. Croatia. The war begins wit ha simple sea invasion. Combat stretches throughout the costal areas with Croatia falling to the much better prepared Italians. The conflict does slow down and become increasingly bloody as the capital is taken. For several years the remaining Croatian army raids the city trying to push the Italians out. So far unsuccessfully. Defeat will come but possibly and old enemy the Magyar will come to their aid.

In Egypt the two southern Juggernauts of warfare once again battle it out. With over 100,000 men fighting each other in the bloodiest conflict ever. Using human wave tactics to over run each other. Khasuti Egypt manages ultimate victory and takes most of Armanain Egypt. The fighting isn’t fancy nor romantic. It is all blood, sweat and tears.

Sayithi Kingdom however sees this the perfect time to reform her once beautiful Empire through force. The Sipparian Empire sees this coming ahead of time and builds up defenses for the coming great bloody war. Waiting for the Spring Floods to subside the Sayithians march down the Euphrates and begin a huge campaign with advanced tactics. Several battles are fought in the early months of the assault and so on for a year as they march up and down the Euphrates dealing with small groups of resistance. The Sipparians do not give up and drag the war out bringing large population into affect. Making themselves a hardly capable army to throw out into combat. The 4th Battle of the Euphrates is fought north of the capital city of Sippar.10,000 vs. 10,000. Even but yet not. The combat doesn’t last more than a few days. With ultimate flanking and victory by Sayithian Army. Though the war was not won. Even with the siege and capture of Sippar the Sipparians do not give up. The continued resitance is enough to last for decades as it does. And the war drags out lowering the morale of both sides. However a large enough force from Sayithi could end it all in a matter of a year or less if put into action soon.
(-9000 Infantry, -Large but Unknown Militia Sayithi Kingdom, - 10,000 Infantry, and estimated 20-25,000 militia from Sippar.)
The Indus River war kicked off to a bloody start. With a two on one invasion lead by Harappa. The battles were really straight forward with a large amount of hit and miss warfare. The Harappa front pushed to the coast but failed to capture the capital of Gujarat. But the Sindh front failed all together and was pushed back into Sindh itself. The war could still go either way at this time.
(unknown Number of Casualties, to be show in stats.)

“Bow before me, great Kings of the world. For I am God!” - Khagan Qadan
So by destiny or just pure luck the Khaganate is formed through blood and diplomacy. And so the Khagans holy duty as God on Earth is to defend his Empire and make it great. Greatness comes at a price and soon the world will learn this. Expansion in the east under the great Caspian sea brings great courage to the Khagan who feels invincible and so he should being a god among men. War is ordered against the pitiful Bithynian’s. Soon with great force he leads and army himself into war and defeats his tiny opponent. Claiming all lands in the name of himself. This proves to be a problem for the now occupied peopels of Bithynia. They revolt time and time again. And so time and time again the Khagan marches to crush them and succeeds. Boosting his own ego.
Itharni’s sudden expression of power brings troubling thoughts to Miletus and Noznican. Miletus builds fortifications to defend themselves from the Khagan. He uses this as a propaganda tool to his men.
“They cower in fear before their true god.” he bloats.
The roar of war chants are heard on all borders. Everyone does fear the war with the Khagan. He is powerful, rich and very charismatic. He is not only a warrior but also a great states man. He is building his Empire as he expands getting a surplus of supplies he needs to conquest. Expanding farms and roads and blacksmiths. As the situation heats up no one is sure what the future holds for Anatolia. But it doesn’t looks good.
