It's an elf.... Thats cool . I hope your working on Gimli though. Elves are cool for sure, but dwarves are better.

But what's Lord of the Rings without dwarves? I was looking forward to seeing a all dwarf civ in the Arda mod! With dwarven axemen, dwarven halbreds, dwarven archers, dwarven knights, dwarven chariots, dwarven air force! Whose going to make all these units?! 
I think seZereth is making dwarves for Fall from Heaven II 
and I can make some variations for LotR from his models. However I don't think dwarves fight on horses, so probably no knights.. I don't know what you mean by an air force

they are definitely on my list, wish i could would not be soo busy right now and could come back to creating units, there is so much i want to create... but give me a week or so to see where to get back some time for stuff like this.

Darven air-force? so far, we are using the FFH2 dwarves, made by the incomparable seZ.

Slightly off topic,
Though, now that I pause and think about it, dwarves and modern day warfare go together rather nice A dwarven marine or Special Forces unit would rock I eagerly await seZs new dwarf units; I may be ably to rebone them somehow. There has to be a mod or scenario idea in here somewhere

You're working on Gandalf unit though right? Or is he the leader in a civilization? After looking at these units, I'm going to have to go read the Arda forum... Don't worry, I mean read, not spam.

I might get around to making gandalf one day.
I figured out how to make a decent looking dwarf! Unfortunately it's buggy at the moment (can't get civlopedia entry to show) and also time consuming (have to modify all the warrior animations to my new dwarven one). It's going slow but I'm learning how to animate and stuff so it'll be worth it.
Anybody know how to fix that civlopedia entry bug?

I might create some fitting models for it later (there are quiete a few left for ffh2). But you seem to have a lot of time for modelling, so do whatever you want to, i don`t have much time and my list is full with ffh specific stuff, so we won`t interfere I hope you can help out the arda mod and perhaps you want to have a look after ClassicThunder, his Alegaesia Mod deserves some help too.hi chuggi, no i am not making new units yet, and i would love you for creating cool new animations for dwarves
Yeah hopefully the animations turn out alright. I've never heard of Alegaesia before though, or the mod for it - but I had a look at wikipedia and it seems to have elves/dwarves etc. so it should fit well with what I'm making atm anyway.

They did ride ponies though so maybe the dwarf scout could be on one?

That might be good... what defines a ponie as opposed to a horse? is it just size?
