Galatian Civ

[BtS Modular] Galatia

This civ has been created for the EBCIV project for BtS but I wanted to get a handle on some of the factions now so that converting them was easier than starting from scratch.

Now to the best part, the credits! First off Thanks to the guys at Europa Barbarorum for assisting me with historical information about the Galatians. A special thanks must go out to Keravnos who has been invauluable as a liason between myself and the head of the Celtic factions team. Thanks to WYZ_sub10 for as always coming up with the good for the flag. And finally thanks to Shqype for helping to test these guys out and providing invaluable advice for the final version.

UPDATE: Now for BtS with Modular capabilities
To run any of my modular files, you need to go into your BtS config file (My Docs/My Games/Beyond the Sword/Civ4Config.ini IIRC), and change
ModularLoading = 0
to
ModularLoading = 1
then install the file into your Beyond the Sword mods directory. The file is set up to run immediately so you dont need to create any folders. Then start up your game, go to advanced, then load a mod and select your mod. And it should work.

lol I hope your joking The simple fact of the matter is that we associate the Celts with red hair just like we associate Scandinavians with blonde hair and blue eyes. But there are darker haired Scandinavians just like there was darker haired Celts.

Yup, I'm really proud of that UU, but it pales in comparison to the Grivpanvar (UU for Parthia) if you haven't seen it in my Barracks thread you really should check it out. And I also just finished up on the Leaderhead for Parthia. Heres a preview. Overall Parthia is gonna look pretty darn sweet

ok ok after several comments, (on the EB.org) I declare a do over and will redo Leonnorius' Leaderhead as soon as testing for Pahlava is complete and it is released, assuming I don't get bored and do him now anyway! It a pitty because I really like this leaderhead. Be sure that you will see him again! Probably with Pontus.

Ok so Leonnorius has been updated with a "more Celtic" look based on the Brennus LeaderHead. Feel free to redownload. And yes pay-t he still has brown hair!

Thanks, I'm still partial to the other one though. But I guess this one suits the civ better. BTW has anyone actually read the Civilopedia entry for Brennus? It actually reffers to the "second" Brennus who invaded Macedonia while Leonnorius helped to lead the Galatians to Aisa Minor.

Who's the other leader in the civ info area?

the leader in the civ info is my fist take on Leonnorius, but due to overwhelming demand I changed him to a Brennus based leaderhead. That old leaderhead is in the Pontos civ now.
