The next of my "Asia Buildings Pack." There will be 13 total new Asian buildings. Pack 2a includes a Japanese Shinto Shrine based on the Ise Shrine, an Indian Mandapam (Assembly Hall), and an Indian Gambling Hall. :)

There are two versions - one with Civ grass and one with Bryce grass - of each building for your modding pleasure. ;)

Ogedei, any chance of more Indian buildings please? I really need them for Anno Domini Classic. So far, I've put all of your buildings in; specific needs include:
Citrasala (public gallery)
Gajadhyaksha Camp (elephant training)
Caravanserai (for trade)
Great granary (Harappan wonder)

Anything you can do would be fantastic :) .

That's possible. But you might need to wait a little. I've had a lot of RL things to deal with lately so I haven't been spending much time on Bryce modelling. :)

Ritual Bathing Ghat - Would have similar function to whatever improvement you would place in the middle of the temple => cathedral sequence for European Civs.

Funerary Ghat - It's a deeply held belief of many Hindus that the body must rejoin the sacred river in order to aid the soul on its journey of transmigration. In practical terms, cremation followed by committing the ashes to the water prevents pollution of the river with all the dead bodies a city can produce. So I'd give an anti-pollution function to this one, as well as some kind of contribution to social cohesion (+ happiness?).

Obviously both Ghats should only be buildable in a city touching a river. And there should also be some kind of religious improvement as a prerequisite. If you intended to use the Vedi (temporary fire altar) that would be suitable, since some kind of fire altar would be necessary for both major festivals associated with bathing of sacred icons and with funerary rites.

If I don't get you 'pedia entries within a couple of days please PM me a reminder.

Pack 2d is now available. :D

The buildings are as follows:
1. Changdeokgung Palace (wonder graphics)
2. Late-Qing Dynasty Chinese Confucian Academy
3. Indian Hindu Mandir in the Nagara style
4. Korean Soju shop / Tavern

Changdeokgung and the Korean soju shop are being released today for Gaecheonjeol, Korea's 4340th birthday. ;) Changdeokgung is represented by Injeonjeong Hall in the civlopedia pic and the splash.
