i think once you hit the real world your posting days will slow down. you cant carry on like you do!!!!
seriously, i'll call him at 10 in the evening, 'what have you done today other than civ? what have you had to eat'. Nothing. its worrying. even other geeky hobbys seem to have been phased out in favour of civ. i dont think me joining has helped although it does mean I can call and read the riot (ish) act about not doing any revision and civving all day!!!
as for suggestions to try phasing it out, how about going cold turkey for a few weeks then you might not be as addicted once you come out the other side. I suggest taking your gorgeous manchester girl away somewhere sunny with no computers for 2 weeks....

I had something like 30 posts three months after I joined, so I was very slow too.
Thats been my average for 2 years.
You know, you should have more influence on him than a CFC ban - tell him if he posts on CFC even once tomorrow (and you'll know by checking his postcount before and after), no 'fun activities' between you two for however long.

He should just limit his internet time as a whole to 1hr. That way, he has to manage his CFC time efficiently in order to reply to everything he "needs" to, as well as whatever else he may need to do online.
