Comments:
I guess this turn shows clearly the importance of cards. Blue traded for 10 extra reinforcements, Yellow for 7 and Orange for 6, and those three factions did well this update.
Comrades had some really bad luck at Ontario, losing 3-6 in the border clash despite starting with a better die.
And White death is miraculously not dead yet. They prevailed in a one-on-one battle with the surging Clockworck forces from Siam and live to see another day. With 4 cards they are quite a prize, unless they (manage to) turn in 3 of them.
Info on cards sent to those who can do something with them.

Offenses:
None. :)

Reinforcements:
  • Clockwork Agency: 9
  • Comrades: 4
  • Imperialists: 4
  • Islamists: 4
  • Narwhals: 3
  • Photon Rain: 3
  • Gaians: 3
  • White death: 1

One day Only! the Grand Chinese Death-Battle Arena is now OPEN!!! Our First and final tournament is now open to all who wish to join!

the Prize?
the remains of the White death armory, including several top of the line tanks, and enough small arms to arm several batallions of troops. we will also provide the location and launch codes to our WMD stockpile, and our prototype 'Korith'-Class Bipedal armored tank, which proved it's worth in the recent border clash the rouge clockwork battalion.
(Cards: Wildcard (the Mech); Cannon - S.Europe, Infantry - Egypt, Infantry - New Guinea (WMD locations))
who will win these glorious prizes?
will it be the Gaians? the underdogs of the tournament?
or will it be the Imperial forces?
co the Comrades use their superior positioning to gain an advantage?
Will Photon Rain storm through the barrier of the Gaians and the Imperials, to pull off and upset victory?
or will the favored home team, Clockwork, pull off a dominating victory!

who will see? who will whin this glorious prize! tune in next time to see!

OOC:
yep, those are my cards, and I'm not turning them in. whoever controls china at the end of the turn gets them. I expect a glorious, all holds bar fight for them, so diapoint me! oh, and if you plan to attack present your champion for the tournament. I want to write a story! though I will not present it till next turn.

Niklas, orders for this turn is to place my single reinforcement in china. thats all I will do this turn.

I nominate our glorious clockwork warrior, Agent 1.12.5.24, with his patent-pending Agent Orange Cannon and Eye-Opening-and-Pointing-Head-at-Annoying-Films-Claw!

Well whoever gets TerrisH's cards will def. have an advantage for a bit. To bad im no where near the battlegrounds, ah well I'll figure out something!

I nominate Peasant Yuri Sakharov. The common man will triumph.

judging from the situation... Comrades seem to have a better chance on getting China...

I know where my bet lies... ;)

Is that pic from rise of legends? Yes, I recognize those Vinci flyers in the background anyday!

Early orders, early update! :)

Comments:
This must have been the craziest turn I've ever witnessed in terms of stalwart defenders. Several times did a lone defender beat back attacking forces of 3 or more, and the lone defender at Mongolia beat enough attacking Clockwork forces to stop the intended surge into China that would have threatened the Comrade claim of the prize. There were also several occurences of defenders beating the rolls of multiple attackers, for instance the lone Narwhal defender at Ontario (and the lone surviving Narwhal force at Alberta subsequently beat back the 3 surging Islamists from Ontario). Crazy.

Islamists traded for 10 extra reinforcements this turn.

Cards have been sent to those who can do something with them.

Offenses:
Imperialists: Can only place 2 reinforcements in Argentina. The third was added to the one reinforcement in Brazil, and added to the attack on Peru.

Reinforcements:
  • Clockwork Agency: 9
  • Photon Rain: 5
  • Narwhals: 4
  • Comrades: 4
  • Imperialists: 3
  • Islamists: 3
  • Gaians: 1

Oops, I forgot my surge attacks. Drat. D:

Not too bad though. I guess.

EDIT:

Card trade ins, are those restricted by reinforcement limits too?

EDIT2: Never mind, they are. Damn.
