RiskNES IV: Hidden Agenda

But no, instead he is gonna die in South Africa. :p
"Do you hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability..."

Sent. Send orders or I'll kill you with more irritation than I would otherwise.

Orders sent soon.

Sorry LF, if you had guessed I would be sending orders you could have diplo-ed me. but its too late for that now, an epic battle between yellow and I.

PROMOTIONS ALL AROUND FOR GREENLAND DEFENCE FORCE!

My guess is that yellow need to secure any three continents...

Blue is going to win you will see

you can have them back whenever, h-s.

just say the word. I dont really care, I just thought I could do it this turn, and it worked fairly well (stupid border clash, that would have been incredibly helpful....) I also wanted the update to come, so I sent orders. However, consider this an open opportunity to take them back.

Orders sent off! I didn't attack you this turn, blue; I hope you repay me the favor (I doubt you will).

Yeah, because if I ever go down, the Narwhals will totally spare you. :p This is war. Fight or die.

If I had a choice, I would rule the world through diplomatic means. I guess this is why I blow at any and all warfare. I'm a pacifist at heart...

That isn't how this game is played. :p

Also, even if I should be defeated, I don't particularly care. I've already killed one faction, might get two more, and fought no less than four other players simultaneously. On the other hand, you're going to have a really bad time trying to kill me, even if you do ultimately succeed. Think 20+ turns for total game length. ;)

Well, I know that's not how it's played; I was just explaining my preference. I don't know what I'm doing playing these kinds of games...oh wait, fun. :D

Well, anyway, that was a nice job you did attacking me anyway (jerk! ) You did well; but then, you're a Risk veteran, so I should be amazed that I didn't get crushed that quickly.

Symphony, those dice are going to roll in my favor. Just you watch. Karma is going to strike you down

Although maybe, by saying that, I negated any balance tipping it toward my favor and made it neutral or worse.

If I apologize to tip it back, will it make it worse? What if I inadvertently apologize specifically to defeat you without realizing it? :crazyeye:

What if nobody reads this? :twitch:

And when will I stop asking myself questions?

I guess Ill take it back. Thanks. Can I get the Card info Niklas please?

Better send orders fast then, it's 7 mins to deadline. :whipped:

Comments:
And thus they were only four, and that only by the virtue of those crazy Islamist Peruvians. TheBladeRoden, thanks for picking up the dying Imperialists and staying til the end.

I actually ran the whole thing once but forgot to save at the end so I had to rerun it. I think there were lots of surprises this time around, but what's funny is that the first run was very similar. The only territorial difference was that Photon Rain managed to capture Siam, if only barely (not insignificant though as it would have meant two less reinforcements for Comrades). Other than that it's only troop numbers that differ, and that not by much either.

Narwhals traded for 8 extra reinforcements, Photon Rain for 16, Comrades for 6 and Imperialists for 0.

Card info will be sent to those who can do anything with it. Sent.

Offenses:
Comrades: Can only place two reinforcements in Siam, the left-over one placed in Mongolia.

Reinforcements:
  • Photon Rain: 16
  • Narwhals: 16
  • Comrades: 8
  • Islamists: 1

The beast behind our eyes is loose,
The day has come, the day has come!
We march to Armageddon, hungry for the war!
I see the hated enemy, I see what I was taught to see
And one of us will bend the knee;
We understand the law.

Though, to be honest, I really have to question what the hell happened in Brazil and Siam, I suppose Iceland makes up for it. Thanks for shortening my front lines, plebians! Your repayment will be a quick and painless death!

At Brazil, you lost one unit attacking, and the 5 surging Comrade regiments had ~27% chance to take your remaining 9 out. So yeah, against the odds, and twice in a row.

Iceland actually fell with 4 Narwhal regiments alive, but the Great Britain defenders took out the surging three with only one loss. Chances of that, ~29%, and also twice in a row, so I guess it does indeed make up for it. ;)

EDIT: Ah, Siam, there's a different matter altogether. The real loss came from the 3 Siamites beating your 6 Chinese regiments in the border clash. The ones from India won with 3 surviving, but they failed to overcome the 3 defenders.

Sent. TEAM BONKLERS WIN!
