One might notice that one asked another one merely if one found the movie to be enjoyable despite one's impression of the previews, and that one was not harping until one attacked one for his views.

Again, it is a movie about giant alien robots divided between two factions of good and evil that hide as human machines and for some reason or another require the assistance of a teenage boy to meet their respective objectives. I repeat: what were you expecting?
Forearmed with the knowledge of the movie trailer, did you think it was perhaps utterly misleading, or that you would be swayed to enjoy this subject line by the discourse of others when you have made it rather clear it is wholly outside of your taste?
If the answer is "No" to either one of those, what is your statement other than "Oh, so you liked it? I think it looks like garbage," with the inherent underlying message of criticizing the other person's tastes?
