HO, HO, HO, merry christmas!!!:) :)

This is great stuff Bernie... you're making it hard on me trying to figure out what to use for my one Native American civ!

I think we're still missing a Sioux Rifleman! [wink, wink]

Best Christmas gift you could give us, Bernie!

Not to mention grenadiers for both tribes. ;)

BOTH correct!, those three the sioux rifle and two grenadiers) will round out the native americans :D

Well, to be honest, I don't think you've done a Sioux Cavalry either... or did I miss that one?

And neither a Iroquis/Sioux chariot, horse archer -and war elephant exists... :mischief:
He did one Horse Archer unit... I forget if it was Sioux or Iroquis though.

While Bernie has not done the Chariots or Elephants for Native America (to my knowledge), there are Native American Chariots and Elephants (and Horse Archers) from other authors.

My own mod is pretty complete on the unique Native American unit-line... using a combination of Bernie and other author's units... including Horse Archers, Chariots and Elephants.

Come to think about it though... I think the Native American unit-line includes a Conquistador-style Explorer... now that ain't right!

awesome bernie!
brillliant texture work on that pikeman´s leather dress.

I checked, and in your mod there isn't a Sioux/Iroquis horse archer, chariot, nor elephant for the Native civ. You used older (native) looking units.

Exactly... I used (native) looking units for "Native" Americans.

Go figure.

In my mod I have "Native" America... not Sioux/Iroquis... so any (native) looking unit is good enough for me.

Also, I have avoided duplicates with the ancient units between Meso American and Native American units. They are two differant sets (at least until the Rifleman, though I'll be changing that soon with Bernie's new units).

Bernie's work IS great... and anytime I like it better then what I already have, I'll put it into my mod, and that's the case more often then not... but if I'm happy with an older unit, I'll use the older unit.

Like I said...

:p

But it isn't included in your mod yet. :mischief:
I probably won't either... kinda like the "quaint" look of the older Native Horsearcher... I also don't want all (or even half) of my Native American units to have skin-heads... Bernie is doing the entire Iroquis nation as either bald or with a mohawk, and since I'm not doing the "Iroquis", but rather a generic "Native American" tribe, I want more of a mix of units.

Bernie's work is great, no doubt, but he and I have differant visions as to what to do with these units.

Now if he does a Sioux Horse Archer, I may reconsider depending on how it looks.

Oh, I agree on most points. But the second horse archer means I can use one in each graphic era before the modern era comes up. :D

Doing ONE Native American civ has it's advantages... I can pick and choose what I consider the best of each category... of course the down-side is that some excellent work gets left on the floor... :(

P.S.
Bernie should combine all these Iroquis and Sioux into a single (or at least two) thread(s).
