well, i've always seen the MLG as an outgrowth of potluck, but it's like art imitating life imitating art . . . or something
@ RJ: got it. i'm going to post some info on the game later in the week (prob tomorrow) as i'd like to open it soon. We seem to be starting the new games around the time of the 4th round or so in the games.

I must admit with a nice start and Unrestricted Leaders I think the gap between Emperor and Immortal isn't that great.
Anyway Pholkhero with the games in your series you canit surely be worried by the level of challenge!!

i have an idea, how about 1 mlg where we pick some of the best unrestricted combo's, and another where we pick the worst unrestricted combo's?
I agree. If you can beat Emporer, then a nice start would make Immortal doable.

I've had trouble keeping up in MLG6 (should be able to by the end of this week), and in general, it is moving a lot slower. Perhaps we are in need of a short break?

i, too, was wondering about a break, but was also going to post MLG07 in the Registration thread as well to get some new people in.
I've been procrastinating with this as I need to finally put together my Rd4 report for 6 (i've had it played for at least a week or so), and i want to do that first.
*Should* we wait though? Let's have actual sign-ups start now for MLG07: Man vs Cottage, where we'll be having two teams: Commerce and Specialist. It will, again, be a race to the stars as, imo, that's the best test of your economy. Players will be judged by total commerce output (GNP) as well as most beakers per city, most beakers per civ, and most beakers per team.
I will play if we have an odd number of players?
