Vlad III the Impaler or Vlad Dracula,

Prince of Wallachia (now southern Romania)

Nothing really original here. I was inspired by Zerver's Drakula (by the way, the credits for the BG go to him). I modeled his crown (It's a bit heavy on polys btw because I didn't want to skin the pearl, so it's a lot of sphere and shpere = lot of polys. This is why it only have 3 row of pearls instead of 9-10) and added it to Justinian, but there is no other model change, so it still look like Justinian a lot. He uses his animation, maybe you can use an other leader's animation if you want to make it looks less like Justinian, but I think it's with Just's anim that he looks the most like the painting

I just wanted to make a quick one before my trip to Paris. I'll be in Europe for the next two weeks, so I'll be innactive on the forums for the next weeks ;)

Wow!! great job, looks amazing!!:goodjob:

That Leaderhead is great Roland! My only criticism would be that instead of having a black cloak from him to use a fur one. Wolf pelt was a highly desirable thing in Romania from the early Dacians ( Wolves were a sacred animal to them) through to the middle ages. Other than that brilliant! Justinian's head as a base is prefect.

Yah, he even has a fur coat in that pic you posted.

Otherwise, AMAZING Job!!! :goodjob:

This leaderhead has convinced me to make a romania civ for my euromod :goodjob:

Excellent job! Very reallistic! Although, besides the fur sugestion, I couldn't miss the absence of Vlad's long hair! Is it possible to be done?

Although my interest for Romanians is limited I have to say: magnificant... The only thing I would suggest is to give Mr. Tepes long hair like he has on the picture.

Yeah, I know. It should'nt be too dificult, but I really don't have time right now to do it.
