"Initialize Renderer Failed"

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering a problem that's preventing Civ IV (specifically, BtS) from loading. The load screen gets to the "Init engine" part, seems to stall for a few moments, then I get this error message:



The game was working fine as recently as Friday, but then I received and installed a Flash update and that's when this trouble seemed to start. I've tried reinstalling BtS and even doing a system restore to Friday, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Okay, it looks like I got it figured out. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my video card; the game is working now.
