I would reccomend keeping the Zulu alive a bit longer, so we get some techs from the GLB. However, we should definately keep a few Immos around Bapedi. As for the rest, send them North, Babylon needs to be pwned.

Save is Attached.

No, they didn't.

Do you know the general direction of Babylon?

I agree about keeping the Zulu an OCC, but make sure Bapedi is surrounded. We don't want them sneaking any settlers out.

Roster:

Qoou: UP
Killer: On Deck
Tasslehoff: Warming up
Choxorn: Just Played

I don't know exactly where they are, but their warriors came from the North of the Zulu.

We don't have to completely surround Bapedi- a few units around it will catch any settler.

True, but make sure you place them equally apart.

Qoou, it's been awhile. If you don't respond in 12 hours, I'll play.

I'm done. We have the GLIB, got Math, went 7-1 in the battles and met 4 AI. :( However, we aren't under a lot of pressure from them. On the pics it shows the general direction of each AI except Rome and Celts.

Unfortunately the Zulu had snuck a settler out sometime, and they aren't dead. However, we found the settler and 2 immos are in pursuit.

I also MMed Susa ans Pasargadae to crank an immo every 3 turns (generating 10spt)

The set:
Spoiler :
Turn 0-Everything looks good. However, I take some of our workers and have them help Susa and Pasargadae reach 10spt

IBT-Barb horse uses our roadline and attacks an immo. We win. Pasargadae, Susa Immo>Immo

Turn 1-730 BC-Move healthy immos North.

IBT-ZZZZ

Turn 2-710 BC-Same thing

IBT-ZZZZ

Turn 3-690 BC-ZZZZ

IBT-Zulu Archer loses to an archer we have watching the city (1-0). A chinese warrior comes out of the dark. Crap.

Turn 4-670 BC-Also, Babs have just sold our contact to the Celts.
We go to China, they have contact w/Romans and MM. Celts have same and 126gold. I decide to sell lit to celts for 126 gold as the GLIB is coming in 2. I consolidate some of our immos in a stack that will search for the Babs. An immo kills a barb warrior and finds a yellow warrior. GRR! Egypt is behind, but we trade them contact w/Zulu for 70 gold.

I then DoW everyone.

IBT-2 Bab warriors comes out of darkness. Pasargadae, Susa Immo>Immo

Turn 5-650 BC-Our long road was completed last turn. Yay. We send workers to end to make it longer. Immo kills Egypt warrior (2-0) Pasargadae can now crank Immos every 3 turns.

IBT-ZZZZ

TUrn 8-590 BC-Immo kills Bab warrior (5-1). Send an immo next to the China warrior for revenge. Its time for the Zulu to go. Immo kills settler, razes Bapedi. (6-1) Zulu don't die. ???? They didn't sneak any settlers out, I don't get it. We'll look for their hideout.

IBT-Susa Immo>Immo

TUrn 9-570 BC-Immo kills China warrior. (7-1) Still don't find ZUlu last city.

IBT-We see a Zulu scout. Hmmmm. Persepolis Lib>Immo

Um... Tassle, you're up, in case you don't know.

Ok, done. We're running into a deficit problem again- -8GPT right now at 100% taxes. It's only going to get worse as unit costs rise. I've got Persepolis building the Colossus hopefully to combat this, but if the group agrees it's a bad idea, we can still switch to an Immo with no shield waste.

Spoiler Turnset :

IBT- Susa Imo->Galley, to scout the coastline and find enemy locations.

Huh?

China in bottom right. Zulu somewhere to the Northeast.

Egypt can be seen in bottom right. Zulu is somewhere close to the Northwest

Didn't you kill them?

Oh, and got it.

Colossus is probably OK...none of our wars are at a critical point right now. However the sooner we get currency (markets) the better.

I'm done. I am happy to report the following things:

-We now only have a deficit of 2 gpt due to loss of Immortals. :D
-Egypt no longer has Iron. I think. :dance:
-5 enemy cities burned.

On the downside, our Immortals keep dying on the defense to Archers and Swordsmen, and 3 of them were killed by invncible Roman Warriors. Okay, I attacked them across a river while they were on a mountain, but that doesn't give them enough of a bonus to kill teh immos!

Pre-Turn (350 BC):
-Everything looks good. But we need money…

IBT:
-I watch as a Celtic Warrior takes the barb camp our Immo was going to kill next turn. Aw, now we don’t get 25 gold! 
-Our Archer on a hill miraculously defeats a Bab Bowman. (1-0)
-Susa: Immo->Immo

Turn 1 (330 BC):
-Immo kills Celtic Warrior, but sees several more Celtic troops nearby. Crap… (2-0)
-Immo kills Chinese Warrior (3-0)
-Immo kills Barb Horse
-I have no idea why those workers roaded the Ivory, so I just assume they’re there to give us an Ivory Colony, and build one.

IBT:
-Remember those Celtic Troops? They Ignored the Immortal and headed south towards our cities.

Turn 2 (310 BC):
-Immo kills Celtic Warrior (4-0)
-Immo lose to Bab Sword. Sure, it was fortified on a mountain, but still… (4-1)

IBT:
-An Immortal is killed by a Chinese Archer.  (4-2)
-Pasargadae: Immo->Immo

Turn 3 (290 BC):
-Immo kills Egyptian Warrior (5-2)
-A Bab Bowman kills one attacking Immo and redlines another before dying, WTH (6-3)
-Immo flawlessly kills Chinese Spear- That’s more like it! (7-3)
-Immo kills Celtic Archer (8-3)

IBT:
-One of our Immos is killed by an Egyptian Sword, and another by a Celtic Archer. Noooooo!!!! (8-5)
-Susa: Immo->Immo

Turn 4 (270 BC):
-Ah, but now comes revenge. Immos kill 2 Celtic Warriors, a Celtic Archer, an Egyptian Warrior, an Egyptian Sword, and a Babylonian Sword. (14-5) Immos rule on offense! Now as for defense…

IBT:
-Egyptian Sword kills Immo (14-6)

Turn 5 (250 BC):
-Immo kills Celtic Archer (15-6)
-Immo kills Egyptian Sword (16-6)
@Byblos:
-Immos Redline but succeed in destroying 2 Egyptian spears, and the city of Byblos (18-6)

IBT:
-A Redlined Immo succumbs to a Roman Warrior (18-7)
-Bab Bowmen dies on our Immo :D (19-7)
-One of our slaves is killed by a Barb Horse, yeah.
-Pasargadae: Immo->Horse, I think we need a few of these

Turn 6 (230 BC):
-Immo kills Bab Bowman, I can’t believe I haven’t gotten an MGL yet with all these elite victories (20-7)

IBT:
-Susa: Immo->Immo
-Entremont completes the Oracle

Turn 7 (210 BC):
-Immos kill a Celtic Archer and a Bab Bowman (22-7)
-Immo dies on Roman WARRIOR, WTH??? (22-8)
-Immo kills Spear @ Chengdu, the city is destroyed (23-8)
-2 Immos kill 2 Spears @ El-Amarna, no more El-Amarna, and we have 3 slaves (25-8)

IBT:
-A Redlined Immo is killed by a Celtic Warrior (25-9)
-Hammy requests peace. Fat Chance.
-The Great Library gives us Philosophy (Which everyone got last turn)

Turn 8 (190 BC):
-Take out Egyptian Settler Pair, yay slaves! (26-9)
-Immortal kills Roman Warrior (27-9)
@Ashur:
-2 Immos take out 2 spears, but a Bowman remains to defend the city (29-9)

IBT:
-Slave is killed by Barb Horse- damn these barb horses!
-Pasargadae: Horse->Horse

Turn 9 (170 BC):
-Immo kills Celtic Archer (30-9)
-2 Immos die on Roman Warriors. Okay, I know I was attacking them on a mountain across a river, but still, WTH? Last time I checked, 4 was better than 2.25! (30-11)
-Immo kills that Bowman at Ashur, the city is destroyed, and we get some slaves hanging around in the city! (31-11)
@Elephantine:
-Kill 2 Spears, and then a sword shows up. Oh, and I found Egypt’s Iron source! (33-11)

IBT:
-Win some and lose some- an Egyptian sword fails to kill our Immo, but a Celtic archer elsewhere kills a different one. (34-12)
-GLB gives us Construction.
-Susa: Immo->Immo

Turn 10 (150 BC):
-Horse kills Celtic Archer (35-12)
@Elephantine:
-Immo kills Sword, no more Elephantine (36-12)
-I use an immo to pillage Iron tile. It wasn’t in their territory anymore, but just in case Memphis’s borders expand…

Here's some screenshots.

Spoiler :

Here is our land, with labels pointing to where the Celts and Romans come from, as well as TEH INVINCIBLE WARRIORS.

3ccawpersians150bcpic1vs7.jpg

This is China- Take note of the Celtic city at the north of the pic.

3ccawpersians150bcpic2jh5.jpg

Here's the Egyptian lands, which I think I'm doing a good job of destroying. The Iron is under the immos to the southwest of Memphis.

3ccawpersians150bcpic3oc0.jpg

Here's Babylon. They have 4 cities left, they should be dead soon. ;)

3ccawpersians150bcpic4tu9.jpg

Hopefully, Egypt has no more Iron, and no one else but Babylon (They're too weak to be a threat) has any. Well, if China had it, it wouldn't be too bad, but I don't want to see any Leigonaries or Gallic Swordsmen. :scared:

Save is attached. Oh, and speaking of which, Tassle, if you save it as "3ccawptw", could you make it "3ccawptwpersians" to be distinguishable from the saves of a try #1? :p

Yeah, tough luck on those warriors.

We should concentrate on Egypt and Babylon right now, and just have a few immos protecting us as militia. they are the weakest, and once they die they won't build anymore cities.

That's basically my plan- use immortals to kill incoming Romans and Celts. I also have an Elite Immortal to the north of China that could easily be used to ravage their lands. :mwaha:
