This actually started as a joke when I did the other, WWII,
Iowa class BB, but then I started doing a bunch for Pre-Dreadnoughts
for different Countries (Germany, Great Britain, Japan) so this fit right in!
If anyone wants to take it on a do a better reskin I would not mind at all. On that note, don't make it too big of a scale or zoom in on it too much or it looks kind of plain. I tried to do the little things, texture wise, so we will see.

Edit: Oh yes, I forgot to mention but it uses the destroyer's kf.
It is the white on btw. :p

Edit: Feb 24 08 A new slightly more detailed version has been uploaded.
 
Yeah... but he looks tiny next to that other pre-dreadnought... guess I'll fix that!

Very nice Matt... I'll get it into my mod pronto (though don't know when I'll release the next version). I'll post the proper scale-size on here too just so you can get that ship the same scale as the others.
 
Just make it a smaller interface size then so it will not look ugly in the Civelopdia. that is .

Actually they were called "Battleships" at the time... then when dreadnoughts came along, they were (after the fact) called "Pre-Dreadnoughts" or "Pre-Dreadnought Battleships". Once the term "Dreadnoughts" fell out-of favor, the term "Battleship" was back in-vogue again by the time of WWII... there are actually two major periods of battleships with Dreadnoughts in-between... but many people just refer to Pre-Dreadnought Battleships as simply "Pre-Dreadnoughts"... but either term is correct.

very dood design,the secondary armament is clearly visible.

PS:in case you want a very special design,please search the most famous greek ship,the armored cruiser "GEORGIOS AVEROF".
never before in the naval world chronicles a country didnt double its land and island expansion due to only one ship.
this ship has doubled greece both land and in islands.

Who's gone to repaint the ship? Terrible colours. :D But great work. :goodjob:
