The Catfight: Start

The idea for this RPC came to me out of the blue, but it came to me. The Catfight is comprised of all six female leaders going at it on a Pangaea map. I can be whatever leader I like, as long as she's female.
I think I'll be playing as Isabella, because she's the female leader who I like playing as most.

Settings:
Map: Pangaea
Size: Normal
Speed: Epic
Difficulty: Noble
Leader/Civ: Isabella/Spain

Opponents:
Boudica/Celtia
Catherine/Russia
Elizabeth/England
Hatshepsut/Egypt
Victoria/England

Victory Conditions:
I'm a little shaky on what the conditions should be. I'm gonna make this one interesting...

I may win in any way, but at the point of my victory, I must have a defensive pact or permanent alliance with another lady, have another lady as my vassal, AND one of the other ladies must be destroyed.

In short, this is gonna be tricky. At the end of the game, there'll only be one lady who isn't allied with me, vassalized to me, or dead. Yep.

Here's our starting position:

I'm thinking settle in place for the resources and the flood plains, then try to grab Buddhism right off the bat. We'll have to grab Bronze-Working right after that to clear out those forests, but we're good for a bit.

Don't worry, I'll give time to discuss this time.

Sponsorships:
Mattimeo - Isabella
Paradigm - Victoria
Cam - Catherine
Bleys - Hatshepsut
Pigswill - Boudica
Peachrocks - Elizabeth

First lady to wear same outfit or steal your boyfriend has to be killed first I think, in a proper catfight.

Well, I have 3 or 4 other games going right now, but this one kinda catches my eye. I think I will play go with Hatty, myself!

I'm rooting for Victoria, plumping more the word. Skinny girls are like jumping on a sack full of spanners. Boudica passes tests though, bonus points for being ginger (Liz too).

Why not just stick to the old Isabella standard? Start a religion, and only let the "cool" girls in, then you all pick on the girls who aren't part of your clique! With the appropriate narration I foresee a wildly entertaining game. Oh, and I'd send the warrior south, you may be able to see if those rivers are coming or going. If there's a coast down there somewhere, I'd want the cow for that... Though the gems have sold me anyway.

Remember, Victoria didn't make lesbianism illegal because she couldn't imagine girls doing that to each other.

We'll settle. We'll play my rules, but I'll throw in some hilarious narrations and the like. :D

I think I know who MY ally is gonna be!

I agree, I can't imagine that either.

EDIT: Luckily, i have access to the internet ;)

OK, saved the WB out and made a scenario. Took Hatty, as planned, and bumped up to Prince. I wont spoil your game, but this is a pretty amusing situation, all girls, LOL. Izzy is still named Mattimeo.

My plan is to not make any friends, or bother with religion until I conquer a Holy City. War Chariot rush the closest chick, and then power-game from there, heh.

Someone else should have a go with one of the other ladies. Just enter WB, try not to peek at the map, save it as a WB (just type "catfight" in, thats what I did) then play it as a scenario, taking whichever lady you wish. Be fun to see how the different ladies play out with different people playing each in their own single-player games.

Five competitors, so shouldn't it be two?

I'll take Catherine. Prince? OK.

I generally play Monarch, so Prince is a good "have a blast, but dont sweat it too much" level. Noble makes me develop bad habits, heh.

Alright! I'll post the next chapter soon! It seems we're ally sponsoring our favorites, so here's a list!

Mattimeo - Isabella
Paradigm - Victoria
Cam - Catherine
Bleys - Hatshepsut

The Catfight: Part I

Well, we started off by settling in place and popping that goody hut, which gave us a scout!

We sent our warrior to protect Madrid, since it had no further purpose. Not wanting to stifle our growth, I started the building of a Monument until we grew to size two, then switch to a worker.

The very next turn (turn 1), we meet Boudica!

We also start research on Meditation, hoping to grab Buddhism away from the other ladies. Cool girls found their OWN religion.

On turn seven, we meet Elizabeth!

And we found Buddhism!

Right about now is when we popped a goodie hut that gave us Priesthood (W00T! Free techs!) and met Catherine...

I like what she's hinting at, but three's a crowd (four if you count me)! We also popped a goodie hut for experience, but who really cares? What you SHOULD care about is we started researching mining. (Good? Maybe I should research the Wheel and Agriculture first?)

------------------------------

I'm thinking we should just scout out more. Lizzy is to our west, as well as Boudica. Catherine is to our south, so it looks like Cathy and I could team up to close Boudica and Lizzy off. Our worker's almost done, so that'll give us a big boost. Those flood plains look tasty, as do those gems. I think this'll be a good game!
What scares me is that Victoria and Hatty might have most of the continent to themselves... uh-oh...

Good to see you're off to an encouraging start.

Maybe while there's a 'community' aspect to this game that the games go in [spoiler] tags ... or as the originator, should you/Mattimeo openly post, with the other players in spoilers? :undecide:

Just spotted this thread. Thought I'd have a go with Princess Boudica.

For clarification: 5 AIs = 1 dead, 1 allied, 1 vassalised, 2 more.

Let the catfight begin. Nice starting position btw :)

Spoiler :
Didn't like the look of the starting position so moved settler, founding Perfume Parlour in 3950bc with incense and spices (and cows and corn). Worker first. Another scout to explore which has been one of my weaknesses. Popped mining from a hut, bits of gold from three more.

Spain pinched the cow square after founding buddhism for major culture boost. I retaliated by building Stonehenge, its also useful for a charismatic civ and seemed an appropriate wonder for Bod. BW revealed no accessible copper (not unusual) so went for IW and found some iron in a convenient location. Finished the round by founding Stiletto Heels.

Going to pop a Prophet from Stonehenge at some point. There's a nice holy city to the north of us. Got iron, aggressively cheap barracks and free combat 1. Seems like I have the ingredients for a Gallic Warrior rush.
