RiskNES VI - WAR IS PEACE

Hm, strange, I remember double-triple-checking your orders specifically. If you want, I can redo the turn

You really should separate "TERRITORY 1 and TERRITORY 2 to attack TERRITORY 3 surge TERRITORY 4" into four lines and separate attacks, but that's just to compensate for my incompetence, so nevermind.

Dont worry about it. Would it change the number of reinforcements id get?

Plus it would allow grey to get all of their cards so I guess its best that it didn't happen.
and I would hate to screw over any player that got a desirable outcome this turn.

I'm so terribly sorry about the mistake. As for reinforcements, I'm not too sure, but it might have netted you 1 more.

If anyone else also has any real, non-game, moderator-induced problems, I'll definitely redo the turn. Or if some of you are outraged by this slip up (perfect chance for the losing parties to get a second chance at life; go be outraged!).

No. No you definitely won't.

J. CASH DEMANDS AN UPDATE EVERY OTHER DAY! IF YOU CANNOT GET YOUR ORDERS IN WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE UPDATE, WE'RE COMING FOR YOU!

Sorry Symph, but I've got to wait for diplo before I can send orders.

To the peoples of North America
From Emperor E. Presley

We have no wish to deal with your squabbles however should either of your forces step upon the noble lands of Greenland we will be forced to retaliate against your inferior troops.

We will award Greenland to whichever side holds the rest of North America first.

I do have a graduation this weekend; there is a reason I was only signing on to be a backup player. :p

I wasn't late before! Those other times were like 4 HOURS LEFT posts. It's not a recurring pattern. It's an anomaly.

My excuse is that none of you asked about whether or not I would be staying at my Grandmother's for a week when I was made into a substitute. Getting up at 3 AM to write orders isn't considered very polite.

My tardiness will likely end this turn, though, so rejoice.

I'm going to assume that your response to my diplo would be "sure"...

I generally lack all empathy for the ways life can interfere when I was able to send orders before the update post was even finished being edited. :p

Congratulations. Next time I'll just skip this whole "graduation" thing so I can go write orders for a board game where I was a backup player.

I wasn't aware two to three minutes of your time required you to abort significant events. I suppose multi-tasking is an acquired skill and typing while brushing your teeth or eating a meal is something most people aren't accustomed to. However, that does not change the fact that it can be done, it has been done, and that if you weren't prepared to do it, you shouldn't have signed up, because realistically, it does not take 70 hours--which is the amount of time that has elapsed since the last update--to write orders for this game.

Put another way: have you had more than five minutes on a computer since the update was posted? Yes? Then you don't have any goddamn excuse, and pretending like you do is crap. If you've spent hours online--and by the way, you have, since you've been setting up your own NES, and have had slack-time in so doing to hammer out some orders--then you definitely don't. So forgive me if I don't give a damn when you namedrop some event in your life as a contributing factor when I know for a fact you've had the time, and that anyone would have the time unless they flat just didn't have a computer.
