Funny Fall from Heaven Screenshots!

Having barbarian world and/or advanced start could explain it. The Dragon is usually built quickly after the barbs have enough cities.
 
If you start with "Barbarian World" then he is guaranteed in the first 30 turns. The Barbarians actually build him, and he only costs 25 :hammers: so they just have to hold a really crappy city for 25 turns and they have him.
 
I just thought the blurb there was funny :)

Seen many time that AI settled such one plot islands :) This has even 2 food resources nearby so will grow a little ;)
 
I was thinking they might have been forced there when rivals' cultural borders expanded to the point that they were kicked off of the continent(s?)

Maybe, but I suppose it's more like "Hm, another piece of uncolonized land, let's find some people willing to settle the unknown!" Once there, they realize there is no good place to actually settle down so they just remain there waiting for land rising from the sea or something. No human is able to plan ahead like an AI. Who knows what's going to happen in turn number 2243467. Sometimes it's really difficult to get a glimpse behind the veil of AI domination planning.
 
Never saw that there were 7 of them, not that is funny :D

I bet it is a sect that worships the Overlords and they are just standing there waiting for Cthulhu to take them in to the depths of an underwater promised land. They are packed for a long journey :)
 
Actually, there's a secret victory condition where if you get 1000 settlers on a single space you win a Settler Victory. Quick, destroy them before it's too late!
 
If it takes 1000 of them, you have plenty of time. I think its better to wait until you can take out a few hundred at once.

I know dwarfs are supposed to be greedy but thats a bit to greedy...
