NOOOO!!! Let it live!!!
I agree with you tailless that we should let it live. However we should also plan for the unlikely event that a mod would come around and close it :(. Don't mind me, I just don't wanna see the DYOS community left hanging when a DYOS thread was closed w/o warning or advanced notice as it happen in the past. Just to clarify, I am with the beyond 1000 posts crowd :).

Basically the current plot involves CivGeneral and Thorvald fighting against the Combine. There's some guy named Mr. Toyoda who's somehow important. tailless had an army attack the Eastern Union capital and cause mayhem, but his army is now zombified and he has been captured by CG. I have a zombie army generally just adding to the chaos, some of which is busy taking over the EU capital (Moscow?), the rest is with me in Japan stopping Stylesrj's WTH? plotline.

That's what's going on right now in a nutshell.

@choxorn - Let me know if you want any shots of Chell (Stylesrj's avatar) since I can whip up some screenshots from Garry's Mod and send them over to you :).

Can't you just take Chell from Portal and use her?

I think there should be a new DYOS thread, I mean mythmonster has made a good plot for the start of the new DYOS.

DYOS XI: A tale of two websites

Heh, didn't expect two of my ideas to become DYOS's. Well, should that be the next DYOS?

Garry's Mod automatically mounts Portal contents (as well as the episodic series of Half Life 2, TF2, and CS:S)

I think we should not open anoter new thread. Have you forgotten that the council voted to go beyond 1000 posts? The only time we should open up a new DYOS thread is when and if a moderator closes the thread.

As for mythmonster's plot, how will this effect the Mr. Toyoda plot that Tailless, Thorvald, and I are in?

Just continue all old plots.

...And since I only just got back, the veto holds.
See, this is why I don't cast my vote 'til the census!

Hi guys! :wavey:
Well, the house is still standing. That's a good sign. To the question of new thread, I don't want to debate it unless the current thread is locked down. And even then, I would request that the resident moderator re-open it. mythmonster2, by all means continue your story; it's definitely Class-A material, and I hope the two main arcs can converge.

I'm not really tired from the trip, but it'll take me some time to get back into the groove of things. I am hoping to get one pencil cartoon done over the coming weekend for the Coruscantis' arrival in Kitami, so CG, you have your working timeframe.

I also found a gadget during my trip that shall bestoweth presents upon you. Stay tuned...

And just what is the Eastern Union capital supposed to be, anyway? :crazyeye:
Technically Oslo, but the administrative body resides in Moscow (where all the action's happenin').

Can you wait for me to do something else first? :)

Can do. :)

I am planing to create a whole separate comic series, though this will be totally unrelated to the DYOS series (It's going to be kind of a self-published comic). At the moment, I am not sure which medium I should use, separate JPG images or compile them into a PDF format (If I had to compile them into PDF, I would have to ask in the computer forum on how to make a PDF document using images :p). I am hoping the DYOS community would have any ideas :). Also, not to worry, I will share them with y'all (If I can find a free file hosting site  )

Sounds good Thorvald :). Glad to see you back! :D

Actually, I have a very strange way to link the two plots together. Mr Toyoda: my second-in-command! :p Actually, it seemed crazy to me at first, but why not?

Mythmonster, I have an idea that I would like to share with you. I am planning to stick a stack of books on top of a Dr. Breen model (His head will be shrunk with the inflator tool. Same idea that I did with Taillesskangaroo. Please let me know what you think :).

Has anyone noticed my plotline or am I just being ignored?

Oh no, I always get a chuckle out of your cartoons. Speaking of which, how is FDR coming along?

As I mentioned earlier, I brought back some gifts for you guys...
Spoiler :
Gentlemen, I give you...
