American war in 1902 over Venezuela with a angry Germany and a VERY hesitant England..."Unbroken Chains" based off an essay i did in high school.

The Cipriano Castro affair? Hurm. I don't know if the Germans, and probably not the British, would have gone to war over him and the loan payments. But good stuff anyway. :goodjob:

I amusingly first heard of the whole thing here. das althists: FTW?

On a more ravy note, a $20 bet I made a year and a half ago was finally paid off today. I was surprised the deadbeat actually did it, too, cause what I did wasn't really worth 20 bucks. BUT STILL, I got cash monies. :D

Rave 1; I have officially finished highschool.

Rave 2; I bought an Xbox 360, and it came with Mass Effect and Halo 3 free.

Rave 3; Guitar Hero World Tour is awesome.

Rave 4; I actually have something that resembles a social life recently.

I am not a statistic! (specifically, I am not going to be part of the unemployment statistics.)
 
Finally aced a couple of Sporcle quizzes I've been struggling with - Countries of the World (last time I tried I got 194/195 - curse you Malawi!) and US States (I have a mental block on Minnesota).
 
Pulled off an A on a Finance exam that the average score was a 60%.

Fallout 3 is an amazing game.
 
I got a 60% on my math quiz today :D Horrible score but better than I expected.

One of the questions was something about how long would it take 2000 whales to turn into 150000 whales if they double every six years. I got the right answer by just plain guessing and no idea of the formula at all :goodjob: (It's around 37 by the way)
 
Watched the finale of LOST season 3 and it was awesome.

I was listening to my boss on the radio this morning. He was interviewing some Rabbi or somebody and at the end of the interview he says: "Thank you so much, and God bless everyone." And then my boss says: "Same to you".

I can't tell you how funny that was to me.
