These are comprised from Diversica & Varietas Delectat with very very little changes. In some the the civs i could not use all the units so i changed just a few things around.:p I tried to be true to Civ4. Changes would be nice if you have good ideas.

I made this awhile ago, but never got around to putting them here.

Maybe add Joan of Arc (there is one in Civ Gold IIRC), and many Frontenac or Champlain or maybe make an Henri IV or Louis IX.

The units are great, as always. Have you made an Incan one yet?

You can use my Cardinal Richelieu, which is available in my leaderhead gallery. I intend on fixing a few issues with him in the near future, but its good as is right now.

I think that there should be 2 leaders. One female, one male.

Maybe... Marie Antoinette? Maybe keep Napoleon? Oh, and you might also keep De Gaulle.

How about Jeanne D'arc or Eleanor of Aquitaine for a female. However, there should be as many leaders as possible :D

Maybe have all of the French leaders! Muahahahahahaha!

Hi all,

About French leaders.
Joan of Arc NEVER was a leader. She was a kind of "mystic general".
Marie Antoinette. Is it a joke ?

Among the really important leaders of my country, you can find: (wrote in french)

- Charlemagne (wich can also be shared with Germany)

- Philippe II Auguste http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_II_of_France
He was the real creator of the "French Nation".

- Blanche de Castille http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blanche_of_Castile
One the very few female i can give in this list.

- Louis IX, also name Saint Louis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_IX_of_France
A very important King. France had reached her first peak of power under his reign.

- Charles V the Sage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_V_of_France A potent King. He threw out of France the (bloody ;)) English during the HYW.

- Henri IV the Great. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_IV_of_France Also very important, under his reign the Religious Wars ended. He was tolerant, open minded and a very good administrator.

- Richelieu. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardinal_Richelieu A very potent prime minister, he was the man that healed France from the 50 years of Wars of religions.

- Louis XIV the Great. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XIV_of_France How can we forget this one ? Under his reign, France was the World Power.

- Napoleon I. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoleon Is it necessary to give some comment about his military abilities ? What he mostly unkown to many is that he was the real creator of modern France (laws, high schools, administration, etc).

- Adolphe Thiers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolphe_Thiers Also a very important politician, he was the man that allow France to become a real and modern Republic.

- Georges Clemenceau. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Clemenceau
As leader of France during WW1, he greatly helped the country to survive and then win (with the help of all our allies).

- Charles de Gaulle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Gaulle No need to add something. He was probably the greatest French leader of all time. A recent poll in France make him the best among a short list where you can also find Napoleon for example.

I hope it will help. As you can see, there is no many woman. It's quite logical, as France dynastic system removed them from inheritance. Even today, in modern time, most woman were (are still) nothing more that just above average. We still wait for one......

Hian the Frog.

What about Chirac? And Sarkozy?
