This is the ModComp I made for Dune Wars that gives sound to the plot, and half of that value to the plots around it. This is applied for Cities,Buildings,Units,Promotions, and improvements.

The XML values are not currently set to anything, and this isn't really meant to be played as a stand-alone Mod.

It sounds interesting but I'm not sure I understand... would you care to elaborate?
 
Is this just a Dune-specific game feature, or does this actually affect the sounds on a tile?

I can see how the name could be misleading on this one, could of called it noise or something, my bad on that one. No, it doesn't actually change the sounds on that tile, it just adds a integer value of sound to that plot (explained earlier on how it gets that value). It is just a condition for use with some things I am going to adding to later. For example, I am currently adding a patrol, that will head to the loudest value when there is one.

That is an interesting idea thought, this would just give you the values of how much or etc.. to change it.
