My dear lady of infinite mental abilities, you are quite right, that I my meager ressources hadn't allowed me to make the necessary deductions.
But why can't your haughtyness not come to my aid and fill in the need?
Being well aware of my insufficient intelligence, I merely stated the possibilities to warn. A lot of people seem to assume the first explanation that the secret voters are the killers without explanation and distrust anybody who is voted for.
I myself lean to te second one, because the voting is not consistent with the killing for me.
Ah, you have found the way to my heart, Kulko. Flattery will get you everywhere.
And I'm happy to say I agree with you. I think it at least as likely that the holders of the secret votes -- that means you, Diamondeye -- are innocent as otherwise. What have they done so far? Act in concert to put Diamondeye into power -- something an innocent might desire as much as a killer; protect Diamondeye -- again, more than understandable; and try to get an item to an android who turned out himself to be innocent.
Adds up to a whole lot of nothing, in my book.
That said, Vanguard, your insistence that quarantine can be useful in determining someone's guilt or innocence is suspect. For one thing none of us knows how many malefactors are on this ship, nor what abilities to do damage they may have. (OOC: Since I know NOTW XXIII was your first game of this type, I'll just point out that it's more typical for "wolves" to hold their most important abilities in common than otherwise.) For another, if this belief were to become widespread, it would be trivially easy to abuse, to cause the death of a quarantined innocent. What would you have concluded about Ronin if there had been no death, or no sabotage, last night? Quite likely the opposite of what you now believe, correct? And all it would have taken is for a killer to decide to sleep in.
