So, here are my very first uploads (finally)!
After seeing so many new civs added by people on this forum, from popular and demanded ones like Poland or Scotland to the smaller less known like Haiti or Puerto Rico to the completely weird and out of this world... I decided, hey, are Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan any worse? So I made those two civs, and I'm ready to share them with you!

Lets start with Kazakhstan:
Leader: Ablay Khan
Capital: Astana
Unique Unit: Batyr (replaces Knight)
Unique Building: Horse Farm (replaces Stable)

And the second one is Uzbekistan:

Unique Building: Choikhana (replaces Grocer)

Ekmek, who taught me to make leaderheads with his great new tutorial!
The Civ Gold team for the Horse Farm UB (it is a (poorly) reskinned Maasai Farm from their great mod).
Varietas Delectat and personally the creator of the Mongol unit set (the Kazakh UU is a reskin of the Mongol knight).
The Civ Gold team for the Chaikhana UB (it is a (poorly) reskinned Swedish Riksbank from their great mod).
Varietas Delectat and personally the creator of the Mongol unit set (the Uzbek UU is a reskin of the Mongol horse archer).
If you know whom exactly I should thank please tell me so I can give a better credit to people.
Also, thanks to Wikipedia for the info and the pictures that helped me a lot!

P.S. The background issue with Ablay Khan will be fixed and that's a promise.
P.P.S. If you have any suggestions and if you are willing to help me improve my MOD (like making new models for the UUs and UBs) it will be very appreciated!
P.P.P.S. Have fun (that's the most important thing)!!!!!

Haven't DLed yet, but will be sure to do so. Look great!

Niiiiiiice!!!

I wonder, though... shouldn't the capital of Kazakhstan be Alma-Ata. Astana has only been the capital for a couple of years.

I didn't know this... apparently Uzbekistan is the second-largest exporter of cotton in the world. (They must have found something to fall back on after Borat poisoned all their goats.)

I'm betting people will download this one as a joke civ... Americans are more or less ignorant about the ninth-largest country in the world.

And why are you calling Puerto Rico "lesser known". We have our own parade in New York City!

That hat on the Kazakh leader is nice, I agree.

Read the first post.

Glad to see another civ-maker start up. Nice work - the LH artwork is especially unusual, I think for beginning civ-makers.

I love the hat on the first LH there. I think I might have to steal it.

I can give you the recipe:
You take Kublai Khan, select the top part of his hat and stretch it upwards. It was so easy- easier than I thought it would be!

Who called Puerto Rico "lesser known?"

I didn't mean to offend Puerto Rico. I just wanted to say that some civs made by people here didn't really have a great impact on the world or their region compared to the likes of Poland, Scotland and others. They certainly did have some impact- and this is why they too deserve to be made into a civ. I mean that such "small" civs might be in less demand by other players. I don't think people will be jumping on my Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan either, but it is nice to have such civs.

Yep, Uzbekistan is cotton-land! During Soviet times the Uzbek government was obsessed with it.

Astana became the capital in 1997, but was designated as the capital earlier. I think the capital should be Astana- it represents an independent Kazakhstan. Almaty was the capital only during the Soviet era, and not before.

In Soviet Uzbekistan, cotton picks you!

The capital of the Kazakh Khanate was Turkestan. A lot of Muslim pilgrims go there today. Some people even say that three pilgrimages there are equivalent to one pilgrimage to Mecca!
