thx :)

Mod looks cool, but there is a mistake with the leaders. The leader of Turkey wasn't M.Kemal Atatürk in 1939; he was dead in 1938. Ismet Inönü was the president of Turkey during WWII. I think u should fix this.

Heya nice mod and alll, but I got a question. In late 1941 for some ungodly reason I can build TWELVE types of aircraft, SEVEN tanks, SIX artillery units, and 8 combat infantry. A little excessive why does nothing obsolete lol. The clutter is just ridiculous! Not to mention the other assorted units. Oh yeah and why the hell is Cavalry still available late into the war.

That is actually quite realistic. You must remember that there was different plane for every job: fighter, interceptor, level bomber (light, medium and heavy) ,dive bomber, torpedo bomber, reconnaissance plane, flying boat (plane), kamikaze bomber (albeit not in Europe), transport plane and liaison plane. Then there is Jet versions of all planes. :lol: And same applies to tanks, infantry and even artillery.

Also about cavalry USA used Cavalry in WW2 until 1944 (quite late) and Soviet Union used cavalry in their military till year 1955.

@Apsidal
I don't see it so much important - Churchill wasn't prime minister in September 1939, but he's already in game. Time is valuable resources and I want to spend it elswhere than creating 100+ leaders to simulate all the government changes. 40+ leaders was already great number to deal with.

@voltar
Cavalry was had theire last great episode in 1920 when stopped bolshevicks from invading europe - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Komarów . It was used in next years, but of course it turned to be obsolete. It's why the horse and some traditional armament like sabres and lances were only weapon of choice, and tanks and armored cars were also poular. Cavalry in Poland (against all the myths) were the best prepared unit against german armored units - keeping about 25% of anti tank artillery used on our side in September. In some countries played important role - like Maaximillus said for example in Soviet Union. But was used by many countries, also by Germany.

For units - if they could be updated they won't clutter like this. I don't have idea how to make it obsolete in other way than making panzer I able to update into Pz VI Tiger - wich is won't happened anyway.

Thanks for the response, I still think you should make units upgradeable, i.e PzKw 3 - 4 etc... Call it ya know reusing materials and crews and such, not that badly anachronistic. But seriously combat cavalry was not to common come 1941... should not really be buildable, perhaps people just start with their pre-war cav but that it ya know... (except for the really tech lagging nations maybe)

Overall though Im having a blast with the scenario I've now played through with Russians and Americans hehe. PS I think I counted 16 buildable aircraft late stage American.

Is this the one that currently comes with the mod? Or is this a newer version?

Also, is there a scenario with historical fixed events yet? Couldn't find recent info on that subject.

Anyway, love the mod, much better than the bloated road to war (mostly don't like it cause my computer can't handle the pressure).
