Once again, it's good to see that someone is able to fulfill their own requests and contribute something from them.

How the hell did I miss this! Thanks Kochman.

Quick question: I use BUG 4.2 and Blue Marble (and BTS 3.19). I can use this right? When I download it, where does it go?

Sorry for the question. I don't usually download these. Do I put in the folders with the other civs? Is it a mod that I have to load after I loaded up BTS?

I have never tried to use Blue Marble.
As far as BUG, no, it doesn't work as far as I know. You have to go into the .ini file and make a change. I think you have to change the "custom assets" from either "1" to "0", or vice versa... Whichever it is, switch it.
If you don't know what I mean re: the .ini file, see #2 below.
And it is for 3.19. Often when you download a new civ, you have to do two things...
1) Put it in the proper folder sequence, which is:
Civ4/BTS/Mods/Jerusalem/assets/mods/Jerusalem (the final Jerusalem folder being the one you downloaded)
2) Put in an .ini file, which you can grab from another mod (rename it to the name of the folder it is in), and change the "modular loading" number from "0" to "1".

Let me know if you still have issues.
This should make it load up with just the standard BTS 3.19 settings... which is unfortunate, but I don't know how to get my mods to accept the BUG and Blue Marble changes...

QUE CHEVERE! This looks like a REALLY good civ!

Thank you! It will be even better when Baldwin IV LH is completed by the Capo, I will surely add that as an option for leaders. Protective/Charismatic?

Yes for sure! You know all throughout. Jerusalem's occupation by various Muslim and Christian rulers it still somehow maintained an indigenous Mizrahic Jewish majority or near majority. Maybe you could somehow work that into it? Even in the 1850s several decades before Zionism, Jerusalem was 50%+ Jewish.

I would be interested in representing this... and idea as to how I should do it?

Well the ONLY problem is that the Jews were the majority really only in the city of Jerusalem. Outside Christian converts from paganism in modern Lebanon/Syria were the majority but the Muslim hadn't sent the many colonists from the Arabian Peninsula until the 1500s (Modern day Jordanians and so-called "Palestinians) so maybe you could do a Jewish quarter UB?

The problem is, standard civs have only 1 UB... and I think the hospital is much more representative due precisely to what you say about the Jews really only being a huge percentage in one city.
If I used that as a criteria, then I would have to do something to represent the other faiths as well, in the cities where they were the majority...

Well Muslims were never the majority in any big cities in that area until the 20th century believe it or not when they started exterminating the ancient Jewish and Christian residents.

I guess it depends how important Jerusalem was to the Latin Kingdom, I actually believe Accre was the most important city, no?

Believe me, I am in agreement with you 100%. It makes me sad to see how Lebanon was basically converted by force within the last 100 years no less. I am glad that Israel has held on in the face of overwhelming odds and provocation.

Acre was strategically more important in those times, and Antioch... Jerusalem was just spiritually important... the Crusader's "Stalingrad" basically... They really, really, really wanted it.

Lebanon was ALLOWED to be turned Muslim by the US and Europe.

Even today Tel Aviv is Israel's engine NOT Jerusalem.

That's a ridiculous statement.

When the Christian militias (supported by Israel) tried to defend their cities and towns, the US and Europe were trying to force them to make a ceasefire with the Muslims. EVERYBODY knew a cease-fire = destruction of the Lebanese Christian community. Which it has led to!

This is true... a tragedy what has happened to Lebanon in the past 100 years.
Beirut was the "Paris of the Middle East".... and now it's, like most major ME cities outside of Israel (and filthy rich oil nations like Kuwait, Dubai, etc), just another craphole where woman have little to no rights and submission is the only form of religion really tolerated.
