Fake religions used for anything. For use if you want to create a mod with religions, but don't want to add them. All credit goes to me. I can't seem to get the changes to take place, but I asked on the forum and people were really puzzled why it wasn't working and saying that I was doing the right things. You can see if you can get it to work.

I tested it and the changes you have made are there. The civilopedia text has changed and it gives bunch of errors when loading 'cos you have removed the original religions. I don't understand what doesn't work.

We'll when I try to load it no changes have been made. Should I take the file off? BTW what exactly are the errors?

The errors are appearing when the mod loads. It because when you add that file into a mod it overwrites (temporary ofcourse) the original one. The religions are used in other files than the religion xml only. So it seems you haven't got these errors. How have you used your files?

Just by them selves. The game didn't crash, but no changes were made in mine. Well all I did was change the XML and kept the buttons and everything. SO I gues I really didn't do much huh?

You should still notice the changes you made...
Could you describe more HOW you used those files you edited. And what do you mean with this "no changes were made in mine". I think the problem could be there.

We'll I edited the names, civilipodia text locations, and the adjective. And then I edited the civilopedia entries for them. And when I loaded the mod with the religions no change had taken place, it was old religions and regular BTS>

Weird. Are you sure you put the files you edited in the right places? Tell me witch folders you put them.

OMG I suck. This had never happened before in my brief (but not short, sorry if it's complicated) modding careers. I DIDN'T PUT ANY FREAKING FOLDERS, I JUST STUCK THE FILE IN, I SURE SUCK!!!!!!!! Well first time that's happened.

:) Well I'm happy you solved it. You must put the files to the exact locations. If you won't this will happen.

I know. That's without you I would have never thought that was the problem.
