RifE New Feature Speculation

Agnostic religion, belief in technology!! For Mechanos, Grigori etc. (But Risen Emperor couldn't adopt it, of course)! And this religion would have one big ka-BOOM hero with some epic canon and some scientist-weird guy, not sure what he would do.
Or it is going to be ne terrain feature because you used word "feature" and not something different. This feature would be something like extended good gods' vaults and if it would clash with hell it would spawn automatically units that will kill each other!
And There is going to be beast civilization, made of shining lions and mutant scorpion-warg and as a hero there will be huge monkey riding even bigger dragon!!
And it will add something to great commanders.
And you will be able to make under-water cities with certain technology!!
And you will be able to fly in space with some amazing magical spaceship that will **** off Gods so much that godwar will begin again!!
And Esus will get Espionage and it will be possible to kill off someone with this alone!!!! And there will be something more to Esus, like moar interesting promotions!!!!!

Yehz this update is gonna be epic!!! :king:

Bears have a similar effect like Nukes, just 10 times stronger

The Grigori will gain bonuses toi their farm improvements to encourage the player to a more lore-accurate Grigori, aka one that has an emphasis on farms and agrarianism.

That one was already announced; It's called the Homestead. Farm/pasture upgrade, 2:food: 1:hammers: 1:commerce:, 1:commerce: at Feudalism. Can work all resources that farms/pastures do, same yields. It also provides the Statesman specialist to the owning Grigori city (even if multiple cities are in range to work it, only one is able to at a time; This is the owner), which increases Adventurer Spawn after construction of a midgame building.

This. This is why I joined the RiFE team. I'm half-tempted to make a wager with other team members how long it takes until someone guesses a few of the new shinies being worked on. But what I can tell you is that

We Have No Further Information To Tell You Regarding RiFE's Next Version. Move Along, Citizens.

Hehe, it's very entertaining, isn't it? :mischief:

Oh, now, just like you don't tease animals at the zoo, don't tease the fans. Just like the animals at the zoo, we bite.
Also, HURREY WILD MASS GUESSING!!!11!11!

Hmmmmm . . . . Rather than being fully functional for the adopting civilization at the moment of conversion, religions now require study before their secrets are unlocked. Said study is naturally undertaken by Monk units specific to the particular religion, of course. The more they study, the more features and benefits of the religion accrue to the adopter.

But there's a twist. In the process of their study, the scholastics hammer out a specific creed, which may be opposed to the interpretation prevalent in another civilization of the same religion. Result: religious schism, diplomatic tension. Order civs may not always be so chummy with each other now.

I would speculate wildly, but my "wild speculations" are more like revealing stuff planned, as I'm a tester. Like [censored] and [censored]. And possibly [censored]

You somewhere told that health is gonna be much more important. There are going to be plagues. Amirite? There is possibility of having new "Gods' favour", if gods favour you, there will be very good events happening and other way around. There might also be some more effects to it. "Gods' favour" will be dependant on civilization (Caridwen isn't going to mind much if Bannor go Order, but if Sheaim do, it is gonna be very tough for them). Minor leaders will get better Gods' favour.
Speculating wildly about possiblity of revolutions.
Chaotic/Lawful is gonna be so much more important. You can't build Smugglers port when lawful but you can't built courthouse when chaotic.
2 cookies I am right :goodjob:

You forgot [censored] and [censored], but they don't want to know about those anyway since it's all behind the scenes work.

A game that doesn't go out of synch after turn 100 in a 3-person multiplayer game....

T_T

That one's actually likely; I'm merging some code from Wild Mana that should prevent ranged damage OOS. Orbis uses essentially the same system as FF/RifE, and after he merged it he had no OOS during a test of the archery system... So I'll be merging it from his code, as it's already fitted in to what RifE uses. ;)

Basically, the single biggest source of OOS should be gone; Thank Sephi and Ahwaric. ;)

I removed all iaircombats from all units and while it doesnt really oos with two people, it always ooses with three.

on the subject... ( also, thanks for checking this forum as often as you do)
willplaying the civsthat cause OOSes like the scions or kuriotates only OOS if its the AI that plays them, or will having a player controlling one of these civs also cause oosing?

Is AI auto play finally going to be implemented? I hate having to play 100 turns to find out my tweaks didn't work.
