American Nation never gets born

For some reason, when I start the unlocked version of BTS RFC 3000 BC for Americans I wait for like 40 minutes, but then the turn counter goes to -1 and the button Continue get enabled. When I press it, the american player (me) has a catapult that is located in the south pole, and no metter how long I wait since then (skipping turns) I never get the forst city or anything.

BTS is fully patched. Also I used the latest RFC folder, removed the original one and pasted the one I downloaded, so I am sure RFC is also the latest.

The south pole catapult is created at the end of autoplay; it should be deleted by the same functions that spawn you. Obviously, something's wrong and that function isn't working.

Recommended actions:
1. Replace RiseAndFall.py with a new clean version; this is the most likely source of the error.
2. If that doesn't work, enable logging and do another run, then post the Python errors.

Did you try going to "Rhye's and Fall of Civilization.ini" and turn "No loading of CustomAssets" to 0 or false? if you have BUG or something like that in your CustomAssets folder then it craps out the game, that same thing happened to me.

This will sound like I am wasting your time, but bear with me:

Go to the BTS mods folder. Delete RFC. Re-download it from the website and extract it again. This could easily be some oversight in copy and pasting, since you claim to be using non-modified files

When you say BTS is full patched, make sure this is v3.19.
