Basic Intro
First of i would like to say If by any means my concept or my choice of Civilizations and how i distributed them are offensive i apologize but i felt that it forms a good representation of each coutnry that i feel played or is playing a significant role in our current world environment and i represened it based on Current affairs;

Currently i have a thread on the Rise Of Mankind A new Dawn Sub forum. Please note that this is still a ModMod and Requires Rise of Mankind 2.91 aswell as A New Dawn 1.73
All credit belongs to Zaparra(Creator of RoM) and the other Creators of the modcomps i will be using.

Reasons & Backround of the Concept
I firmly believe in diversity; modernization aswell as including all possible elements that have been left out in mods; aswell as to merge some of the best mods around and to bring it under one banner. Allowing the player (you and i) the ability to enjoy Civilization IV how it meant to be played with freedom and world history in mind and remaking history ofcourse.
.

The Concept

There +- 90 Modern Civz; 120+ Leaderheads; +-10 New Units;6 New Buildings. i plan to include in this MoD; It will take long but i plan to do it as fast as possible; Currently i am learning everything there is to know about Leaderhead Creation; Help will be appreciated though, This is my vision of the perfect Civ Game. If it is shared then please assist.

A NOTE:
All Ancient; Medievil Civilizations will also be included in this mod; aswell as all current leaders that are in currently in civ gold and normal civilization; If the civilization is already represented by one of the modern countries then it will be excluded.
For e.g Ancient Greece for modern day greece; The Dutch for Netherlands etc.
But Ancient Egypt; Roman Empire; Holy Roman Empire; Ancient Ethiopia; American Native Tribes; Asian Tribes; will be included.
The leaders that fit for each civilization in History will be included based on their factual history of where they came from in history.
So no need to be disapointed if you are one of those die hard fans of the Ancient World and Medieval World & Eras

ENDING NOTE
I hope wants it is complete you guys will enjoy my vision and when Civ5 comes about when going into Modding a few of you will share this same vision and bring it to Civ 5.!!

The Leaderheads for all Civilizations are fully animated, aswell as have other alternaitve static Leaderheads;
The Exisiting Default Civilizations are still in place just renamed and adjusted accordingly
Note: I will not be making or releasing any new Civilizations(with exception South Ossetia) as i feel i have covered most of the countries on the globe in some way or the other.
Other leaderheads will be created in due time; and for updating purposes i will continously keep up with the base mods.

Also please be advised that some of the leaderheads and one or 2 civilizations where done in haste so they may not be cosmetically look perfect but they suffice for the need in hand and provide flavour; it will be improved upon in due course. Aswell on the civilopedia it may seem a bit cluttered and messy but yeah that the cost for accuracy i may shorten it to look neater but im going to take a slight break:P

The recommended setup for everything to work well is to install all the custom units and custom buildings aswell as a must is the folder called "important" which is required.

The Custom Civilizations and Leaderheads for adjustments and if you dont need are completely modular so can be deleted as you see fit. And note if you have other custom civz that are not mine there could be conflictions for which i cannot be held liable for. But i am here to assist you.

LITTLE HELP
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have done the CIV4diplomacyinfos.xml for each leaderhead aswell the required gametexts.xml for it but unfortunately; i keep on getting errors on it, so if anyone willing to help me run that properly please message me i will give you those files. But for the time being on first contact meet it'l be blank text for most of the custom leaderheads. But it wont mess up the game though.

FUTURE PLANS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Plans for the Close Future:
2 New Corporations
Include Immigration Mod
Religious Decay

Gordon Brown and Tony Blair are/were Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom, not of England. In fact, both are Scottish.

Bear in mind that in a month's time Gordon Brown will almost certainly be out of office. So if you haven't started working on his leaderhead I suggest you don't bother.

It seems like quite a monumental task to have to update world leaders, do new leaderheads and so on as they change. With 90+ civs you are going to have a near-impossible task if you're going to achieve that, like for instance, now with Gordon Brown, as he's disappearing from the world stage within the near future. Perhaps you should either make the leaders more generic for some nations, and/or, in fact, include fewer nations.

It looks interesting and I'm waiting to see what it looks like. Keep it up.

Yeah i understand, I am not going to do new leaders unless i have to, currently, And for a few nations (excluding the major world players) i am going to do generic leaderheads. The leaders i have chosen will basically have office as leader from 2010 and before:) I will not update them unless they are major world players. And yes it is i would say seemingly monumental task but not impossible, i have already planned which leaderhead (from the oirginals) im going to use with just a few reskinning and editing here and there and i think i can come close to the actual person:P Hopefully.
The leaderheads & the civilizations will be the most significant change. For now though i want to have a mod out there, Currently the first upload will include all existing civilizations aswell as civilizations from CivGold; and leaders i have found from the leaderhead section of civfanatics with a few edits. And i am using those. For the first version of the mod. I plan to make the new civilizations and the leaderheads i make Modular. Allowing it to be easily used by many :) At the moment i am building the core part of the Mod and adding new Units; Buildings; New Features etc.

It is a really good idea to have the major leaders updated and current in a mod like this. It will make playing it feel very contemporary and up-to-date, and it would do for an interesting game. I really send my strongest support your way.

You could do scenarios with like the World Situation April 2010 and so on to really get things going. Lots of interesting situations pop up. What would happen if Gordon Brown got struck by some kind of insanity and declared war on France for example? British Tornadoe's bombing the Eiffel Tower and the Royal Navy blockading the Channel. Haha!

Maybe you could get more people involved in leaderhead creation and updates, so the burden could be lightened on your own shoulders a tad?

And you hit the idea on the head:P I am looking for someone to help with the leaderheads but unfortunately i do not know who to ask.

Hehe@scenario yeah its all like that; or even an OIL Crisis, leading to world war 3:P This is why i am creating it;
There is also a feature from Total War mod; that really and realisticly simulates the working of the United Nations

The Link http://www.civilization-totalwar.com/index.php?page=concepts&lang=en
http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=293

I want to try and port this feature into this MoD. For that though i think i need to play with the SDK files.

Do you know anyone that can help especially with the leaderheads? or can you assist me?

The leaders i have already :
Barack Obama;
Ibn Saud;
There are a few others I also got Done and added into the first iteration of the mod :D the 2nd iteration will be completey redone from scratch with all the promised features included. The first one is to just get the concept out there and for people to gain interest. So i can get the support:)

Actually I got thinking. I've never one a leaderhead myself. That is, not the animated kind anyways. I have created two mods and both use static leaderheads, in fact. Why don't you just use static leaderheads for most of your leaders and then do the animated flashy ones for those you have time for and think need extra attention. Adding static ones is so easy that you can have new leaderheads up and running in like five minutes.

If there's a Coup d'Etat in Country X, they change leader in the evening and you see it on the News, you can have their new leader in your mod that very same evening! I think your downloads would go to the skies and there will be a lot of interest in such a mod. To my knowledge, it hasn't been done before.

I keep my own modding on a one-person basis. I like to be dictator of my own work, but your project is so large that it will probably need a few persons more to get all the things done. You can ask around on the forum for help. Explain your idea, and I'm sure you get people interested. Unfortunately, I personally, and although I really would like to be of assistance, am quite unavailable to help with the modding, since I durrently have a very big modding project going. But I will be sticking around and see where you take this idea, and may actually offer my help as you go, becasue I don't know how my current project develops in the future and how much I'll be working on it.

OMG nooo....not Jan Peter "Harry Potter looks like me!!!" Balkenende in the Netherlands!!LMAO...that's too funny...:D

Brazillian Civ: Don't use Jose Alencar as Leader. He just is the vice-president, but isn't important to Brazil nation. Use Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
