And that's about it, feel free to comment, rate, criticize, rant, complain, or otherwise tell me if something is wrong and I will try to fix it to the best of my ability (usually anyway).
Enjoy!

Absolute killer, love the detail & accuracy :) It's my favorite release by far, it will replace like half the units I use, and the older Qizilbashi dudes also used as Turks in various ethnic mods can now properly go to Medieval Persia/Safavids. Khazars are one forgotten civ, so it's a nice surprise.

one word: awesomegreatfantasticgoodlookingunitsasalways

@The_Coyote,
I learned a new word today!!

@embryodead,
Thanks embryodead! And I'm glad you like the Khazars, I was always found of that civilization it as it is one of the few non-semitic states that converted to Judaism so I personal find them very fascinating. They were going to be in my medieval mod that I will probably never make.

@AbsintheRed
Thanks for your kind words in embroydead's thread, but as I don't want to clog up embryodead's thread, I will put my official list here,

The next major unit project is the Arabs, however, similar to the Khazars I will probably release some smaller unit sets as well. I was thinking about either making, some Timurids to fufill Capo's request from long ago (it depends on whether he still wants me to make them) or some Kipchaks.
After this my list looks something like this,
Major Projects,
China,
India,
Islamic Egypt,
Islamic Persia,

Smaller Projects,
Japan,
Khmer,
Bulgars,
Germany,
Netherlands,
Karakhitan/Liao
plus the rest of the vanilla civs as I continue my hair brained ambition to make flavor units for all of the civs, as well as many smaller unit requests.
A civ's position on this list is subject to change of course.

simply spectacular, supreme units!

@Bakuel, you mention two janissary longbowman in your animation directions and they also appear in the screenshot for the medieval ottomans, the zip file does not contain them however.

EDIT: the ancient turcish units also mention and show an archer which is not included in the zip.

EDIT2: the medieval seljuks mention a heavy cavalry (knight) but only contain a heavy horsearcher.

Could you please upload them ?

Thanks :)

Thanks bernie14, I just saw some of your units it's good to know your still modding!

@mamba
Some of them must have slipped through my fingers... I put them in the zip files and re uploaded them, they should be there now.

Not even I can keep up with these all these units anymore. . . :hammer2:
Thanks mamba, please tell me if there is anything else missing and sorry about this.
It should be in the zip now.

Hehe, no problem. I prefer you create plenty of units and drop a few than create a few and drop none ;)

That appears to be all that was missing, now I have a unit for each pic (I believe I did not see the khazar and turkish spearman animations in your descriptions though ;) ).

They use the Mayan Holkan animations.
Maybe I just need to slow down and make less units.
:mischief:

Since I already gave you all the possible praise for your Ottoman units via PMs, now brace for some criticism. :D

With Redshirts, you ran into the same trouble as myself when you made them, even if yours is much nicer. It seems they're wearing jeans - you went with very conforming pants shape. From all pictures I've seen their shirts and especially pants are supposed to be more puffy and loose. End criticism mode. :)

Other units I didn't see yet are magnificent as usual, and a Khazar pack is indeed a very nice surprise. It just might tip us towards adding a new civ to TR mod... :goodjob:

P.S. An idea: only a slight reskin is needed to turn your Dardanelles Gun into a Tsar Cannon, especially since its current carriage that can be seen on the pictures is not contemporary, and the one used initially should have looked like either of your Dardanelles Gun versions (judging from the hoops on the sides I'd go with the "early" version).

:):):):)ing amazing!

I can't really say anything else that would be worthy of how awesome this is.

I'm also really excited you are doing Arabs next, although Indians would be good too. :mischief:

And if you can still make Timurids, I won't try to stop you. :goodjob:

I haven't been active lately, but I just noticed this...

Amazing, as always. The research and massive amounts of time and energy spent on these clearly show!

Also, I would like to remind you of the random hooplah of hero requests I had for you, since I'm still working on World of Legends... if only very slowly.

Good job again!

Smaller Projects,
...
Germany,
...

Could i make a minor request? If you start making the german units could you consider to make some of the more moderns one more like the free corps fighting in the Napoleonic wars, like the Lützow Free Corps or the Black Brunswickers. Especially since the empire in civ4 is Germany (and not prussia) the Lützow Free Corps - not because of the numbers, this figure was quite small, but because of their legacy - would imo much better fit as single unit for the entire region than contemporary regular prussians, bavarians, saxoniens or [fill the list with all german states around 1800]

I learned a new word today!!

honour to whom honour is due. :)

Congratulations, you did a tremendous effort in quantity and quality of units :trophy:
