A Brave New World Part 2

nice update but uh whats happening in germany?

Yay! Some stability to work with here.
Awesome update E.Q this Nes is really getting some cultural flare with all the movies sports and cartoons, i'm impressed.

From King of England
To People of England and the World:

We see no reason to deny our people what they desire and seeing as we wont be getting executed and will remain on as figureheads for our people in the very least, capable of morally guiding our nation we willing submit to their demands as we have no desire to see further bloodshed rock our isles.

Germany? DUR! Where's Germany? Doing that now, somehow it completely slipped my mind while updating.

The Cartoons are not likely to be artistic masterpieces in the future, being done with no real skill and in MS Paint. But enjoy them for what they're worth.

Sorry about the absence, but since it seems I have been dropped from Sweden, which has now been reclaimed, I'd like to claim Pennsylvania. Its just a quick boat ride across the Atlantic, anyways, and maybe the change of scenery will do me some good. :)

Why would the Republican revolt in Germany have lower military ratings than the Empire? Its not like the hundred forty revolting weren't trained in the same fashion as the others. Also, did I not state I was playing as the Republicans?

Oh, and I'm back.

EQ sorry I didn't bring this up before but I thought the Socialist Party won the last election, It says on the front page that the moderates are in control.

Spoiler :
CHILE ELECTIONS. Santiago, Chile. The predominant topic in this year’s elections in Chile was the Moderate Party’s agreement to join the Socialist International Cooperative Group. This led to a quick split in the party as the wealthy and middle class rallied around the reforged Conservative Party, who has played off German victories in La Plata to organize a front against socialism. However, they failed to secure the majority they needed, despite heartedly dividing Chilean politics. The nation’s Socialist Party won out in the end, due to major lower class voter turn out. The new government has reaffirmed ties with the La Plata Republic and Socialist Union of South America. Still, conservatives claim that the socialists worked to rig the elections in their favor, attempting to bring Chile into the Red blight of communism. (-2 Stability)

That'd be something to bring up before Book Budda. I'll check it out, but I'm pretty sure it was a moderate victory last time.

@DarthNader: because the good generals and best soldiers stayed with the Kaiser.

How can a split be made between "better" and "worse" soldiers occur if the army rating covers the entire army, not only pockets of it?

Well, my thought was that the elite of the army brought up the overall average, because you can have "bad" and "good" units within one army.

Sorry, I didn't really notice the problem until this update

And I think the update that has the election is on page 143

@Book Budda, checked it out, and you were right. However, that does little to change the events of this update for you.

The Métis Syndicate notes that it remains committed to the ideals of democracy, and that le Parti Syndiqué in specific espouses a policy of syndicalist democratic socialism. With regards to both Germanies, we have entered no alliance, technology consortium, or any other agreement beyond simple participation in discussion. Your government has confirmed the legitimacy of our democratic institutions since the fall of Cloutier, and the Métis are violating neither the words nor the spirit of our agreements regarding our nation's status. It does not reflect well on the Kaiser that he is so greatly offended by a fellow nation engaging in well-intentioned, peaceful, and productive discourse with its neighbours.

We know that Sweden tried a smear campaign against Pennsylvanian steel in the past, but we'd like to reassure everyone that they only did it out of jealousy towards our superior product. Anyone who would like to purchase Pennsylvanian steel will not be turned down.

OOC: We did??

Well there you have it!!
Fantastic update, as always, EQ. Hope the orders were up to scratch!!!

@ EQ I'm confused. How much is it to upgrade artillery? Other than that, great update mostly. Guess my plans didn't go through at all but in overall losses at least I'm ahead.

CC: The Chinese People

Though our major offensive may have been halted this year, it is only because we care about the lives of our soldiers much more than the Communists and are not willing to lose men in what will likely be unnecessary battles. It is becoming more and more apparent, that due to their inherently violent and bloodthirsty nature, the Communist's only solution to a problem is to throw as many of their own men at it and hope something changes. Not a very fitting attitude for a group who claims to care so deeply for the welfare of the Chinese people.

Let us gather and plan the next offensive for this year, before these murderous traitors have time to regroup.

Good update, my stability should be at 7 not 6.
