A Brave New World Part 2

Shame on you for backstabbing your own people. You make the same people that ravaged your own land a few years ago and the ones that you called barbarians your allies. I'm sorry you're so desperate for victory that you have to stoop this low.

We appreciate Korean aid, but next time you launch offensives onto mainland China to "help us", we'd like to know beforehand. Thanks. :/

While it is true, in the name of international peace and reconciliation, Korean monetary and naval aid was used to suppress the Communist rebellion, the Korean force landing in Shandong was acting on their own behalf and sent no word to the Republic. The Republic had no knowledge of this and will speak to Korean leadership to make sure they leave Chinese territory once the war is over.

You have no one but yourself to blame for bringing our former enemy against you. Had you laid down arms a year ago, the Koreans would have not felt the need to intervene in such a manner.

You are outnumbered, outgunned and cut off from supplies yet you claim to know what is best for the Chinese people. If you want the Korean troops to remove themselves from Chinese soil and end the bloodshed, simply lay down your arms and stop this fighting before you pointlessly send thousands more to their death.

Would you care to explain these rumors of atrocities in Belgium?

You called these people barbarians ten years ago, and now you support them. You were the ones who asked them to intervene. I know what is best for China. The best for China is a free China. China should not be run from Paris. China should not be run from Seoul. China should be run from Beijing. We have been under the yoke of European oppression for decades, and we are here to end it. You are there to continue more years of imperialist oppression. This is not a war of communists and republicans anymore. This is a war of freedom vs. puppetry. Imperialism vs. liberation. Giving the people a right to choose their leaders is no consolation for the continued years of oppression from imperialists.

P.S. You bring no true freedom to China.

P.P.S. Don't even try to make yourselves look like the good guys. At least we didn't condone bombing your sub pens.

You seem to be confused on several concepts such allies, rulers and freedoms. First and foremost, where has there ever been evidence we receive orders from Seoul or Paris? We are equal partners to the Europeans and Koreans in our alliance to defeat you Communists and stop your violent intentions. It is no different than the support you Communists receive from SUSA or UNCA, except perhaps our strings are not being pulled at all.

Secondly, you speak that China should be ran from Beijing. The only government which has ever ran China from Beijing in memorable history is the backward Qing Empire. Are you suggesting we reinstate the Qing?

Thirdly, you also say we bring no true freedom to China, yet this is completely false. We have done more to bring peace and freedom to China than you Communists have done or will ever do. We have supported reforms giving land to the peasants, defeated warlords descended from the archaic aristocracy and most importantly of all, brought democracy to China with our free elections, despite your best attempts to sabotage them by enticing riots. Democratic elections are everything and you Communists are simply upset that you will never be legitimately chosen by the Chinese people.

Finally, we reiterate, it was you who brought the Koreans to China when you forced their hand through your submarine warfare against their shipping. We are also confused as to why you still seem so surprised about the destruction of your sub pens when they were simply being used as a method of expanding the war and conducting a campaign of terror. Did you Communists simply get bored only fighting other Chinese so you had to find someone else to antagonize?

@Karalysia: You're welcome to them assuming you have a good idea of their meager background.

The rumors you speak of are just that - simply rumors. You know the habit of Semites to lie, and at any rate the reorganization is not as targetted as some claim. Many individuals of many races and creeds - most of them, in these isolated instances, happened to be Flemish - volunteered to pave a new way for themselves abroad. We have done the same for Frenchmen everywhere, giving them a chance to start anew in other regions of the Empire, and reports of atrocities are greatly exaggerated, I assure you.

On a similar but not entirely unrelated note, we might feign commission to wonder why it is that so many Russian filmmakers and public rabblerousers insist on mocking our glorious nation. Coming from our oldest ally, that hurts. It truly hurts.

This may not be the right place, but have you stopped the duels, EQ? The duel between Matt0008 and qoou hasn't been updated.

@flyingchicken: I must admit, it's less strain on the eyes reading your map.

Seeing that as far as the Republic was concerned, the land in the Shandong Peninsula was still legally French at the time of the Communist takeover, they were free to deal with the territory as they saw fit. The Korean take over of the Shandong Peninsula, while likely not at the most appropriate time was a legitimate business transaction between Korea and France and fully allowed by the Treaty of Shanghai. Furthermore, the Republic of China never placed any claim on the Shandong Peninsula and the territory never had the fortune to be part of the Republic, thus making it not our place to intervene.

Though the Republic wishes to see a unified China at the soonest moment possible, the Chinese people are honorable and will not break their treaties and provoke even more violence. The governments of the Axis Pact, including Korea, in the name of upholding peace have pledged not to expand into territory claimed by the Republic of China and will be providing us with vital medical technology to save as many lives as possible as well.
