Just downloaded it, and I thought I'd note for everyone's benefit that 0.03 does not break saves from 0.02. So ya'll should download it now.

I forgot to mention that.... but yes, v0.03 is compatable with v0.02 save games.

Hi there. Just donwloaded it, 0.03 patch included, and i find a mod with no words... It doesn't crash, so this is not the same problem Lachñan has. It is just that i don't see a word, not a single letter.

I first thought that maybe, as my civ is in spanish the problem should be that... But WTH i've already played hundreds of mods, all of them in english, and never saw that. Any idea?

I only use <English> tags. If you have BtS set up for say, French, my mod has no <French> tags so all text will come up blank. The only way to fix this is to install Civilization & BtS in ENGLISH. By doing that your game will read from the English tags, and not from non-English tags (Spanish, French, German, etc).

This is why I say my mod is for English only. :)


This seems to be a reoccuring issue with non-English speaking players, so I added this to the FAQ.

That has something to do with the Plot List Enhancement portion of BUG mod. Can you tell me specifically what those ships are doing in your game? Are they sleeping, skipping a turn, etc?

It occurs in my game as well, whenever a unit is sleeping or fortified. (EDIT: Actually, it seems to appear whenever a unit is in the middle of executing a command, which would be why its always on for sleeping, fortified, blockading, or sea patroling units, but only flashes during a move order.)

EDIT: On the subject of weird graphics quirks, I just noticed that the Roman roads are using railroad bridges, and the railroads are using road bridges.

I started a new game in the future era as America, and I noticed a few things:

The unit naming functions in BUG don't work for heavy aircraft or jet aircraft, and probably not for Air Superiority aircraft, either.

The US air superiority fighter has a wierd icon - it looks like its the texture map.

Shouldn't the Submarine upgrade to the attack submarine?

Finally, I'm a little underwhelmed by the Marine Corps UU. I know leadership is a very good promotion, but it doesn't serve much purpose on a unit that tends to die en mass. I think they should get a slight improvement of some sort.

The Multiple Target Acquisition promotion isn't actually available to any jet aircraft, despite being available to the jet aircraft unitclass.

None of the jet aircraft but the strike fighter seem to be able to take the Interception promotions, even though they should be available.

Is there any particular reason only early aircraft can take pinch?

Finally, the model for the American advanced fighter isn't solid - it's missing the intakes. See attachment.

I'll take a look at this.

I didn't want the USMC to differentiate too much from vanilla marine units, except for the fact they gain experience much faster.

There's nothing I can do about that, since there is only one F-22 model available out there, so unfortunately I have to use it if I want to have the F-22 in the game.

there's a tag in globaldefines to increase max interception probality, if you wanted to.

I just adjust mine in the UnitInfos.xml file.

The game crashes when I click on Hitler's mini-portrait on game selection. When trying to select any other leader, the game is fine.

What are map are you playing that this happens with?
 
Is it possible to play it in the multi player mode? I tried it, but it was terrible. Everything was chaotic, texts didnt fit in the screen, units didnt appear, really really messy, it looked like as if the mod wasnt finished yet. But very good concepts!

So how about MP?
 
No religions possible.. New patch didnt fix that. I am really surprised why all the people havent seen this problem.

Would like to see it fixed soon.... Mod seems very promising!
 
I played a test game.. At start, when someone founded hinduism, I couldnt see it in the religion page. After that, I patched the game.

After a second test game, all religions except Zoroastrianism would appear in the game. The tech for Zoroastrianism was discovered by me, but I didnt get Zoroastrianism. Major dissappointment. Can this be fixed?
