Some Mongol unit style and Ethiopian unit style: (I was going to do a big thing about having a wide selection of units from different civs, but it will take too long, especially considering everyone will be getting it soon anyway. I just didn't think that the other unit style pics I made did it justice.)

Hey Watiggi, not to push you (as you have been incredibly kind, especially with my earlier requests), but could I re-ask a question?

Can you tell which enemy a privateer belongs to, by its markings? I know your not supposed to be able to, but it was possible in civ3.

Also, could you set up a world builder scenario (which shouldn't be to hard) in which a privateer from a civ, you don't know yet, is in your cultural borders? I am wondering if the game will introduce you to the civ, and give away the privateers nationality. It's a bug, I'm worried about..

Next War stuff (part 1):
-Assult Mech (it's off screen, but it also says in the stats that it's a national unit with a limit of 4 units - in the same way missionaries which are limited to 3)
-Automatons (there's nothing behind the tooltip)
-Cyborg
-Clones
-Drednaught (national limited to 2)

Privateers: (each one is from a different civ. The one not 'barbarian' is mine)

Yep, when it appears for the first time, their contact name (bottom right of the screen, where you click to chat to them) appear. He then introduces him/herself to you so you know who it is. I'll whack it into the bugs thread.

Thanks for checking on the bug, and thanks for the pictures!

I'll try to stop pestering you, until the US release :)

I've completely lost track of what requests have been met and what haven't, due largely to other people helping out and responding to the requests here and there (which I'm great full for, I might add :)). So, if requests haven't met by this post - and if it's still important - put the requests in again. I will work on them from here onwards.

What I feel could be a really good game mechanic illustration is if you made a screenshot of what happens when a catapult stack attacks a stack with flanking cavalry in it. One before screenshot of unit healths in each stack, one after screenshot of unit healths in the stacks.

(There has been conflicting information whether the flanking damage causes damage to all siege units in the attacking stack etc.)

[EDIT] And oh, yes, I'd again like to add that your screenshots have been the best thing on CFC lately! :)

Some more shots of leaderheads:

- Suryavarman's complexion looks more healthy.
- Hammurabi's background's been changed from the Hanging Gardens.
- Justinian's animation is a bit more lively than shown on the BtS site.

Thanks for posting these. They look much better than in the previews. Justinian also looks less like suffering from hepatitis. :)

He's wearing his helmet, in the other one it was just on his head. He looks like a homeless guy with it on. :vomit:

I think when you contact him he is wearing a helmet and removes it during the greetings sequence.

It would be cool if he put it back on when he declared war on you, though. :p

Flanking system (part 1):

-before battle
-during first attack (horse archer attacking stack, which fails)
-the result after a couple of failed horse archer attacks
-during a successful attack (you know you've already won)
-the resultant damage to the stack

Though I like how siege is significantly weaker and horse units are more critical. I'm fearing that this will just make wars more tedious, especially if the AI can wield the flanking ability well, and even more so in multiplayer :/

btw, is the ranged attack feature in the epic game? If so, that will increase (maybe only slightly depending on the damage that can be done) the difficulty in taking cities. However, I wouldn't mind having it :)

Wow, is this flank attack new? Must be, and it is quite awesome! Does this work for artillery too? Maybe my cavalry can use that to disperse the late seige weapons the AI piles into my territory.

Watiggi, thx for all screenshots, especially Next War ones! :goodjob:

I just wonder one more thing. It seems as there is different graphics for some ancient land units. Does that apply for industrial/modern land units and air and naval units as well? For example, does Germany have different unit graphics for their submarines? That would be so cool!

Hey, no problem :)
