The Texans were unprepared after a promise of peace, and most of Texas is occupied. The UCSA enlisted Venezuela, and have both attacked Mexico, with a landing at Veracruz and in Central America, while the Lowlands and UCSA have blockaded the Mexican Gulf and Pacific Ocean. In the Rocky Mountains, the UCSA has assaulted a Mexican Force, and has pushed past Colorado and into Nevada

Second Great South American War
There would be no peace in South America. Due to a wish to control more territory and unite Christians of South America, Queen Anitta has invaded Argentina! In the first initial months, it was just Argentina versus Brazil, but then Chile joined the war on the side of Argentina! In Argentina, many have rose up against the ineffective government after Buenos Aires was captured, and the Brazilian offensive has taken the country by total surprise. On the other front, Chile has tackled a front over 1000 miles in an attempt to regain land from the former war. Only Peru is at peace.

After the sinking of the Russian HMS Olga near the Panama Canal, it was discovered that Peruvian agents were responsible. Generals in Peru have called for reform, and they marched into their President’s office and each shot him with a pistol, 18 times in all. Trying to keep relations good with Russia, they have crowned Tatiana Empress, who has made them all Lords, Dukes, and advisors. The people adore their Empress, and they feel she will make an excellent ruler.

While the death of Alexi had pretty much put her on the throne, it was not official until Nicholas II officially abdicated and left to have a mansion in Siberia for hunting. Then, at the largest audience a crowning ever had , save Queen Victoria herself, turned out to see their beloved Tsarina be crowned. While she has not commented on Democracy, it has not been asked for, as it is clear she intends to pull Russia into a new age of prosperity. She has already negotiated to two Russian ruled nations of Spain and Persia, and has purchased Vladvistock from Japan.

The Commies did it. They had Madrid, Lisbon was in there sights. The Nationalists were on the run. Then, everything changed when the Russians came. There army was huge. The landed in the east, and destroyed the Communist armies. The Communists had to bring troops back, and then the Nationalists struck. They had planes, tank squadrons, rifles, and gas. Madrid, as well as the Communist government, was captured. There was no hope for the Communists. Citizens have risen up to no avail. Anastasia arrived, and was crowned Empress, and the former regime was forced to serve her. Only Deperezi escaped to northern Spain. Many have said he could lead a regime in Italy, or Africa, but he is desperate to take as many Nationalists as he can.

There is a four way split in Yugoslavia! One is claiming that Austria is the rightful ruler of the Balkans, including Yugoslavia, while others say that Yugoslavia is nothing more than a domain of Olga and Russia. There is a huge underground communist movement, and a Croatian independence party. How Yugoslavia will react, no one knows.

Most of the Shah’s former ministers have become powerless “advisors”, but most are thankful that they are alive. Many think Maria will lead the nation to a golden age.

China War coming to a close
Instead of pushing back the invaders like the Emperor declared they would, China’s situation has become desperate. While initially, the fronts were stalemated, but an invasion of Tibet changed everything. Japan was not able to fight a huge war in Tibet, so after capturing their Eastern Border, the generals decided to consulate their gains for now. The Japanese poured into China from Tibet. The Chinese were unable to respond in time, and there troops were destroyed. The Chinese capital was captured, and the Emperor fled south. He was then executed by his soldiers, and they have declared a Republic of China, and have asked the Japanese for peace.

Due to the war winding down in China, and unrest in Spain, the Japanese have annexed the Philippines.
