Whoops, fixed it for real now.
1) You need more RAMMorholt, did we exhausted all the possibilities for speed and memory optimization? This is the only mod I play when I get memory allocation errors -- and I have 3 GB RAM and 1.87GHz dual core Intel CPU. The speed in 1500s is just frustrating ... Plague helps a great deal but still .. Perhaps half of the AI should be allowed to conduct diplomacy every other turn? Or anything else... this long waits between turns just killing all the joy![]()

1) You need more RAM
2) You need a 64-bit OS
3) You need a faster CPU
My turn times are blazing fast...
32-bit programs can't handle more than 2GB RAM unless they get flagged large address aware then they can handle 3GB 3GB enabled 32-bit OSes and 4GB on 64 bit OSes.Actually, a 64 bit OS solves all MAFs (memory allocation fault) even with 3 GB RAM
Firaxis made a huge mistake, and Civ IV cannot even handle more than 2 GBs
There are some workarounds, but it cannot be really solved. MAFs will always appear in 32 bit OS' when you are playing on huge maps and/or graphic heavy mods

No, also you can get MAFs with 64-bit OSes, it just takes longerI said the same thing, didn't I?![]()
# Have a larger population than any HRE state in 1648.

pBohemia.setUHV(2,1)
else:
pBohemia.setUHV(2,0)

Hey all, sorry for not posting for so long. I've been in a tight spot balancing studies, work and family. Good news is, I actually have a good as done Beta 2.
alpav and TheFlame8, what civs do you not get any sound with? Or is it with every civ?
Tigranes, you are correct about the Bohemian UHV, cool game by the way. When did you conquer Germany and was it difficult?
Michael Vick, the Spanish Union was actually intentionally coded that way although I don't remember why. I'll change it to affect the entire civ instead.
I'll upload Beta 2 later today.
Another possible union is the Habsburg Inheritance of 1519. Spain + Austria, really the dominant partnership is up for grabs in that situation. I can't really say whether that situation should result in a complete or partial union, though. Also, an annexation would fudge the potential unions for Austria with Bohemia and Hungary in the case that Spain won the annexation. Unless union chances for annexed civs can be transferred to the winners of previous unions. Imagine the possibility to recreate the entire Habsburg empire of the 1500s through diplomacy. That's exciting.
Also, now that Aragon is featuredbeer:
) Spain shouldn't be called Spain until the union with aragon. The civ should be entirely renamed The Castilians. DCNs would be Kingdom of Castille and Leon, then Kingdom of Spain after the union.
