What if I have no idea what an SMTP server is?
Probably best not to worry about it. Just email the next person in line with the save attached and that's sweet. Its what I have to do as the Gmail SMTP server uses a non-standard port and there's no way to configure Civ4 to like it :/

it was ok this time. Totally uneventful turn.
I use only webmail (no client), and I never managed to have SMTP server to work, even though it is supposed to.
EDIT : also, in term in time optimisation, abculatter2 probably being somewhere in America is difficult.
I played this turn very late (2am). Won(t do that every day, though I'll try to check in the morning.
So the game should go faster than before, but I think it will still not keep pace with the others.
anyway, playing every other day should be acceptable.
