Expanded Great People Names Redux

I see I still have a list of Dutch GP which is used for the RFCE. But I guess we want GP from the complete timeline instead of just the Medieval-Renaissance. You can see them in the spoiler.

But I will change the list to incorporate some more modern GP. Keeping the most important ones ofcourse, like Erasmus. I will also put them in chronological order, if I hadn't done it.

Here is a list with the Dutch GP names. (I excluded the artist, as you said you want to do it yourself.)

I put the birthdates in the list because that gave me a nice view to see which era didn't have a GP yet. I was to lazy to remove them. (I just copy-pasted) You don't have to pay attention to them.

Alright, since I have a wealth of resources in front of me with the list of compiled Great People for the Dutch,
I will do a quality control check within the week and add them first ahead of the Germans.

I forgot a Great General I think that is a must for the list: Piet Hein. (It could replace Cornelis Jol)

Also, if you need a modern Great Engineer, you can add me. (I'm studying Mechanical Engineering. So in about 20 years, I'm on that list :p)

Will take him into consideration.

I was almost thinking some of the guys from Guerilla Games who
make the most insane graphical effects with Killzone, but I digress.
If people have enough demand for it; I can make a separate non-official file,
compiling DoC subforum members as GPs for their respective civilizations.

On a tangent, I think if Baldyr (I remember from when I was a lurker) were still around doing RFC stuff,
I might've been harassed relentlessly to add Lena Meyer-Landrut as a GA for Germany.

I could relentlessly harass you about it if you like ;)

I can do Great Spies for Vikings (Scandinavia) and perhaps Egypt & Babylon. I have some knowledge about the latter two, but we will see if that's enough.

Roman spies:

-Gaius Fulcinius
-Marcus Baebius Tamphilus
-Gaius Valerius Troucillus
-Apodemius

I am not too happy with the second one, but the others certainly fit the picture well.

I'll probably include Erasmus, but it'll be one of the few times I make an exception for a pre-spawn person.
The EGPN file will likely be updated sometime today.

Also, as an aside, Leoreth, thanks for reminding me that it's happening. :)
It's been far too long.

I'm pumped and apparently no one else is. This forum was once full of ATLA fans :(

Still have to wait one day due to timezone differences though.

After a brief review, and having realized Maurice De Saxe was absent from the French GG list,
I also found that there wasn't any uniform regularity to the numbers in the French list in general.

I'll fix that along with adding the Dutch GPs.

Also, Jusos, if you could keep researching Great Spies, that would be excellent.
I'm beginning to wish you had a reserved post so I could compile them from one source,
but again, I will not include the Great Spies until the list has reached a point of satisfaction.

That is to say, not before normal priorities are finished and that could be awhile unfortunately.

Yeah, I can do some research, but it may take some time and help would be appreciated. I can compile a list to the sixth post of this thread.

I downloaded the EGPNS file, but still cannot find the new german generals there...it's very disapointing and unfair as I stated before...if someone can help me I would be grateful.

Hi Wilhelm, that's because I haven't updated the file yet.
I can do a quick one right now, but I've been pressed for time lately.

You only need to drag the Assets folder and dump it in the root directory of the RFC Dawn of Civilization folder.
I think that might be the problem.
