Not worth it - 2T Edu.

It may be better to work Scientists in Rocky for pacifism benefit, not the mines, then switch back once we get OR. However, it may not! I am unsure.
 
Anyway, this is the right time to choose the final strategy and victory condition.

In theory, we can take both Toku and Mao and please Liz (luxs of the world), gift summerpalace to Isa, and take control of resources going domination, right? Anyone eager to estimate, how many turns it will take to "take Mao"?

In case of diplo, Mao is a sure opponnent unless we make some mixing :]

The strategic resource one for Kate should be avoided if possible. Aluminum won't be revealed until Industrialism. We could get lucky, or we could get screwed.

The military parade still seems like the most bearable of 3 bad options for her.

Building Stinky on the incense east of Salamanca might be the best gift city site for Isabella.

Tokyo (or a new city 1NE) looks tempting, for that matter all of Japan looks tempting with no colonial expenses.

Alternatively give Japan a cheapo tech for OB when we meet, import Judaism, capture Tokyo, build UN there then return it once UN is built is another option.

edit: is it worth building Jewish and Hindu monasteries to give us missionary option without OR?

another edit: there may be peaceful creative solutions to acquire ivory, silver and wine near China.

Possible Summmerpalaces:
1S from where judaist miss is standing
1E from gems - the most food and hammers (9 food, 6 hammers, +1 grow, max useful size 4)

Hammers needed for summerpalace: 380 (50 walls + 100 castle + 150 groc + 80 odeon).
Only whipping without gran make sense there (4pop-->2 pop?). OR is the only bonus possible (temple whip as soon as possible for more hammers?)
Growth 1->2 5 turns, 2->3 5 turns, 3 ->4 7 turns
The main question: is it possible to raise diplo standings till +3 with border pression? (comom war with Louis using AP resolution?) I really start to think Singles may be easier

How do you see the chances of religious instead of diplo? (just make sure Kate and maybe China will be Hindu and Willem likes us more than Liz?) - one less tech to tech and eng burnt for Christo?
 
Religious seems quite tempting. If Liz and Will adopt their favourite civic of FR that will help. It might be worth settling in Spain to have a city that we convert to Hindu then gift to Isabella. A potential problem is Liz researching mass media before we complete all our objectives. We still have to tech up to radio, combustion and industrialisation. R&R is more feasible with a spare GE and no UN.
 
Its a bit quiet. Summerpalace/Hindu gift 1E of gems. Gift drama to Toku. OR at end of GA.
