"I am sorry my liege but, ARE YOU CRAZY?! Freeing those places. They need to be taught a lesson, what will Canada, Australia or even India think? If they see that we are letting them free becuase they rose in rebellion they may do the same!" Robert began pacing back and forth.
"Calm down Robert, I only let them free, because they hold no strategic value to the Empire. All they are doing is dragging us down." King George VI calmly replied.
"But what about America?"

"Why are they freed?"
"Why not? They have earned it. They have the potential to become stronger than Britain, and they can watch the West while we focus on the East and Africa."
"A brilliant plan I suppose, then why not free Canada?"
"They are not yet ready to leave Britain, they are still in a tough position, if America chooses to go against us, they will be the first to fall becuase of how weak they are, it will be better if they stayed with us."
"Considering how nice you have been to America, what makes you think they will turn against you?"
"I am not saying they will, I am saying that if they did. Also I recieved this letter today, perhaps you should read this."
Robert read the letter and finally understood the reason behind all of this.
"I see, sir. You are wiser than I thought you were. I apologize for my outburst."
"Apology accepted, now leave."
Robert bowed and headed for the door.
"Oh Robert could you please ask General Thomas to come in please. Thank you."
Robert nodded and left. A few moments later General Henry Thomas entered the room and saluted.
"My deepest condolences to you my liege, losing a father can be difficult."
"Thank you Henry, now I am placing you in command of my armies in Egypt, your first objective is to kick the French out of Egypt, then out of all of Africa. When this is done, I expect you to move south and eliminate all of the African rebellions. But you foremost objective is the eilimination of the French in Africa, failure in doing so will hinder the British plans for Africa. Do you understand?"
"Very well, my liege, shall I ask about the rules of war in this theatre?"
"All rebels must be eliminated, I do not care how you do it, but as for the French, while they may be backstabbing pigs, they are still European and to be treated with respect, if they surrender capture them if they resist kill them."
"Understood my liege, I shall prepare immediatly." General Thomas saluted and left.
King George sighed, "Now begins the longest day in British history." He sat down to fill out papers.
