AFSNES I – The New Dawn

Orders done, time for some diplo

From the Elder of the Jalion Tribal Council
To The Mande Empire, The Garamantes and Nubia

We are interested in trade. We offer gold and salt along among other goods. We are mainly interested in horses. What is your response?

I am here, tho without much internet access. Please NPC me if i miss a turn or two.. general consoldation, economic growth (yawn)

Mande and Garamantes have been trading with you for decades now.

The deadline has passed. Still, as said before, I will wait for certain important but order-less people; fortunately, there isn't a whole lot of them.

Orders are now sent. Better quality than hoped, but I had to set a lot of other things aside, and some things are still missing from the orders. Yes, I spent 6 hours or more on this. Don't make me do it on one day again, please.

Much as I would like to do that ( :p ), it isn't very likely in the near future.

Teeny weeny amendment to my orders. Sorry, but I wasn't expecting a reply so late.

Spoiler :
Disregard all the paranoid stuff, and throw in a trade agreement with Caerix.

"And thou, vast Ocean! On whose awfull face
Time's iron feat can print no ruin-trace."

English clergyman and poet

Kisius trekked the distances of the Tarekid Amsurate. A brilliant man, haunted by his genius. The first Village he entered upon exiting Malaca, he settled down. Seeking to preach the faith. For Kisus was a priest trained in matters of spirtual health. And Began to study not the stars, nor the alchemical propeties of substances. No Kisius studied the people, his mind finding patterns, and fitting people into groups. So to better help and guide them, to be able to predict what was the best thing to say.

It might also be said that Kisius was insane, and had a pathological hatred for people, in so far that he studied people, he studied oratry, seduction, the use and abuses of power. That he became a priest to excercise power over his fellow man. And that he compiled a book the Locus Domini to infulence others into becoming clones of himself.

He did however leave the Village some say on various accusations of witchcraft and others beleive that he moved on to simply gather more information on people.

It is perhaps best to remember that all sources relating to Kisus, are written well after his supposed death, not long after he disappeared into the Deserts of Africa, preaching the faith and compiling further information on people. But this book has found itself into the hands of many great individuals, from Amsurs of Tarekid to goveners of Cities. What is perhaps frightening are the comments in the margins of this book. Detailing a deep paranoia, of not other people, but himself. He did not trust his mind, he felt that there was a wide gap between his experiances as a human, and what those around his seemed to be experiancing. And as his book continues a degradation of his identity and individuality can be seen, as he blurred the lines of good and evil, and the end result. More-over his brilliance made him note down similarities between peoples accross large distances. Which he took as a sign of the illusion of his own reality.

Lately he has been accused of being a teenager that never grew up. But his initial works on the Human mind are extremly infulencial and his book can be seen in places that you least expect it.

OOC: I'm bored :p

sorry for late orders but they were sent

Yes, Daftpanzer's.

To the Elder of the Jalion Tribal Council
From Nubian High Court

Nubia fails to see what the Jalion can offer our great state? If the Tribal Council can come up with an offering, a proposition, than perhaps our borders will open to Jalion merchants.

The Delphian Empire calls for economic aid as well as supplies to fund our ongoing battles for existence. Direct aid in the form of finance, supplies or foreign troops sent to Delphi will be welcomed with open arms. The empires that send them will be the friend of the Delphi for many generations. We shall drive your enemies under our heels and pronounce you as saviors in our streets. Help the great Delphi nation brethren!

Well, finishing the update might still take some more time, but I just finished writing about this turn's main conflict. It is bloody, confusing and (to me at least) somewhat hilarious; fellow mods here know how fun it is to make people's plans collide, but in recent memory I don't recall it ever fitting together so wonderfully. Consider that a teaser. ;)

:(. Oh well it looks like I have more time to choose another from my many Indic children...

Sorry about that. I skimmed through the pre-thread and didn't see anybody lay claim to it. If you really really want it I guess there is no shortage of other nations I could pick I guess.
