Minor Axis: The Overlord

I'll just be the Minor Axis, never played them in PBEM before.
 
As said earlier, I'll take the Soviets. :)

I think we're having four anyway, with a Minor Axis but no Minor Allies. I know what has been said about balance, but from looking at all the 5 or 6 player games the French (unrealistically) always beat the crap out of the Axis at the outset when a human plays them. Considering there are the Allies and the Soviets vs. the Minor Axis and the Axis, I think it would be balanced enough with an AI Minor Allies. I don't want to see another game be decided by the tenth turn due to rush-built French planes. :rolleyes:
 
Hmm I might be interested but as I'm kind of new to this PBEM-thing and played this scen only a few times I think the three protagonists might be a little bit too much for me. Especially the Axis as a two front war may be a little bit too heavy to handle I think. I did quite well against the AI but against co-ordinating humans I'm not sure. Perhaps we can change the countries and I can have the Minor Axis. They are out of the main battle for some turns and I've time to get into it. What's your opinion about it?
 
Hello everybody!

I can understand if some of you are still a little angry on me (I was the one who ruined a coupple of PBEM-games due to cheating), but I honest and sincerley ask for forgiveness.

I have learned from my mistakes and will never do anything as stupid as that again. So if it is OK with everyone, I would like start all over again, and would be more than glad to take the axis.

Would you give my a second chance?:confused:
 
Personally I don't mind, since your files would repeatedly be checked. ;) I'll go with what everyone else wants though.

Military coup in Germany
Rudolf Hess and his loyal sevants was arrested by Reichmarschall Eivind and his loyal servants. Reichmarschall Eivind proclaimed himself as the new Führer of the German Reich. While Hess and his men was soft towards communists and jews, Eivind reinstated the old Hitler-regime. He also prooved to be a briliant agitator in a speech he held in a Nürnberg-rally.

"...Personal differences between Rudolf Hess and me caused the military coup led by me. Rudolf Hess was not good for you, he was not a good National-Socialist, he was not a German!..."

The first thing he did as the new Führer was to grant the miltary a massive amount of money, and putting himself in the leader chair of every military decission to be made in the ever expanding Reich.

(I hope you all understand that this is only to "spice" the game a little up. My personal opinions are not stated here)
 
The Invasion of France
To avoid the heavilly defended French Margionot line, Eivind and his brave men rushed through Holland and the low countries.

Holland in German hands
When the dutch capitol Amsterdam fell, Rotterdam easilly followed in the hands of the Germans. Further Brüssel was emptied and ready to succomb.

The Invasion of Poland
Poland with its outdated military is about to taste the German wrath as they mobilize for a war against the Pols (we do not want to harm the Soviet Union in any way, so please do not take this as an act of agression aimed for Russia. Russia is offcourse more than welcome to join the liberation of Poland :) ). This only a way to liberate all the ethnic Germans living in Poland (and the slavs for Russia if they agree to join).

Katowice emptied and besieged
Katowice was emptied and besieged. Ready to succomb.

Danzig besieged
The citizens of Danzig and every other "Volksdeutscher" in East-Europe can look forward to a bright future under German rule. The city was besieged.

Zagreb bombed
Zagreb in the Balkans suffered severe losses after a German night raid from the sky. The city was emptied and ready to succomb to the German juggernaught.
 
The Allies are asked to either stay out of this "Continental-War", or to join the Axis in their crusade against France and the liberation of Poland.:king:
 
I do not like to tripple-post, but there where something wrong with the upload in the last two posts made by me, so I simply try to make a new post and see how it goes :cool:
 
Prime Minister Chamberlain held a great speech today, hailing the Axis as evil conquerors. He pledged that the French and Poles under attack would soon be rescued from the German offensive. He also asked the United States for support, in which President Franklin Roosevelt pledged unconditional military and economic support to save Europe from agression. Winston Churchill, Lord of the Admiralty, has ordered the Royal Navy into mobilization.

The USS Washington Heavy Cruiser sunk a German U-Boat, the first combat with the Germans. Damages reported were minor damage to the aft gun and starboard torpedo bay, repair is expected to take one week.

BTW Eivind you don't have to zip the file.
