o.k ive not had this game long but im so happy.
right i was playing the game on real life map i was british.
first i landed on the continet as soon as i could then i biult up england for defence.
i conquered most of france but they kept retreating.
about 300ad i take over most of the roman empire.
ages later i have a large succesful empire 25 citys large composed of
England,Spain,Italy,France, and south america, I find the last roman city and pummel it with air attacks, i move a unit to take over the city, but before i can get there Japan conquers it.I declare war (what could i do).
destroy the last of the french empire and retake the barbarian citys of Marsielles, and this other one i cant remember.
Even later now and i biuld up a giant air force and load up about 3 carriers with about 3 fighters and 7 bombers each, i also load up a transport with paratroopers and set off for the americas,
I reach america and unleash my air force they swiftly destroy Washington, New York and 5 other citys defences which are then taken by paratroopers in less than 5 turns the entire american empire fell to no less than 38 units 9 fighters 21 bombers and 8 paratroopers,
tomorow: use same force to take over the Aztecs, the only civilization that can rival my own then finish Japan and the barbarian citys that leaves the treg

(did i mention this is TOT)

I assume you mean that you started with 2 settlers and then expanded, making a new settler from each city you founded with an older one. This is called the Infinite City Sprawl technique (known as ICS here and at other Civ sites) and is one of the best ways to gain a massive advantage over the computer opponent in science, wealth and production. It is quite difficult to do if you start your game on an island as you will need to take the settlers overseas before you can continue settling, but this only sets you back a few years and then the advance can continue. It's only one of the many tactics available, but one of the most effective. :goodjob:

I remember one game i played as the Americans and i was huge and was at war with 2 other civs bordering me and in between us was a huge ocean. I had 10 Carriers holding the max loads of Cruise missles, stealth fighters and bombers. with about 8 submarines holding 3 nukes each :) the USN was the most powerful navy in the world ;)
