King of all Kings
Ok, this is my second attempt at a story nes, my last one was closed after the second update maybe becuase the rules were too much. Here is where Ima try to keep it simple.
Economy is split up in 10 levels;
Dead +2
Poor +3
Depression +4
Recession +5
Moveing +6
Stable +7
Growing +8
Healthy +9
Booming +10
World Class +11
Each level gives you a gold per turn. You start on Dead, making 1 gold per turn. You cannot raise your economy just by saying so, you must do something first, like more merchants and such. To increase the level of your economy it will take one turn though you may not do anything else like buy army.
Gold
Now that you have an economy, it will be time to increase your gold sinse everything in this game revolves around it. To increase gold just say "Increase Gold" and your vault of gold will increase depending on your economy, it only takes one turn and it is the only thing you can do in the turn.
Military
You may have an unlimited amount of military units. Every 100 troops can be bought for 2 gold and every 10 ships can be bought for 3 gold. This will make military hard to get superior in this age, its realistic.
Population Limit
Population limit goes by levels. When you have level one population that means you can support only 600 troops without paying. From then on when u increase population you can support 100 more troops. You can increase population from improvements available, the only one so far is the Granary.
Training
The training of your army and navy will effect your battles alot, though u should know this already. This is only available when having the barracks improvement. The levels are;
Monkeys
Farmers
Peasants
Worlords
Veterans
It costs gold to raise training.
Education
Education determines how sooner you advance. You start in 0IQ and must get to Uneducated to advance to the next age. Education also helps culture, you may buy an Education level with gold.
0IQ
Slow
Dumb
Backwards
Uneducated
Illerate
Progressive
Literate
Smart
Classical
Intelligent
Einstiens
Super Brains
Trade
Trade has to be between two civs. It costs 10 gold to start trade with someone and gives 3 gold every 3 turns to both civs. This is changeable though.
Culture
Culture is very important in this game. Culture is accumulated by points. You get culture by building available infastructure and wonders. I can also add culture to a Civilization myself. Culture helps in different ways. One is, helps you keep newly conquered territory easily. It will also expand your territory if it is high. NPC nations will like you better with more culture, and can even take over their nation if it is soo overcoming. Stories help alot.
Approval Rating
Its like citizen moods though with percentage.
Wonders
You may start wonders and display effect, I will tell you how long.
btw, thanks for the map Jason.

Look in the Global Economy below to see what and for how much you can upgrade things in this game. If you are just joining there are many powerful NPCs to take so consider those before starting a new civ. Have Fun!
