Is vanilla playable with Warlords?

Like the thread title says: if I were to buy and install Warlords, would I still be able to play ordinary Civ IV, without uninstalling Warlords?

Yes, you can still play vanilla. It makes another shortcut for warlords.. (i think i've played one vanilla game after getting warlords..).

Yes, I've played a vanilla game after installing Warlords. You just have to use the vanilla disk instead of the Warlord disk.

No, you can play warlords with warlords. But, if you have CDs, vanilla and warlords, you can play both, not the same time. There are 2 EXE files;

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords

The first one is Civ4, the second is Warlords. Civ4's CD will be required when you try to run Vanilla. So that means you have to quit Warlords and restart Vanilla.

Yes, you dont need to uninstall Vanilla. Both of program are installed at the same HDD. You can use both of them. Approximately 4.5GB.
